Gate is build with doors facing the inside of the tower square:
After building is finished, the orientation is incorrect (by 180º):
Attempted to build the gate, facing the outside of the tower square this time, and the result is the same - gate facing the outside:
This is true for both Palisade and Fortified gates.
All of my map’s gate are open to either the East or the North.
