Could someone give a brief overview of what’s what now with this build? What’s changed from the OP’s original Markovian set/Reavers Calw/Matriarch rings etc?
And what Devotions with which skills.

What’s the deal with that vendor, will his weapons grow in level with me? Like if I went back at level 45 will I see level ~45 weapons?
Got 2/4 pieces of the new Warborn set yesterday. The chest piece finally dropped from a Crucible farming session and Moosilauke decided to give me the recipe for the helmet. Can’t wait to complete the set and give it a go. Cronley on the other hand hasn’t been giving any decent rings at all and I’m still stuck with Tyrant’s Bonecleaver of Alacrity instead of Bonescythe.
Anyone been able to gamble the new set items though? I’ve been tossing all my extra brain matters to legendary weapons and haven’t gotten anything. The loot pool for weapons is big though, so it’s probably just tough luck on my par and atm I’m wondering if it’s worth it since the gambling cost is kinda expensive.
In my gambling experience armor is worth it somewhat. Gambling for accessories is the worst.
Farming Crucible on Challenger seems to be the Fastes, Safest and most productive way. Or Gladiator if you now you aren’t likely to die.
Ok, think I’ll start gambling for armor instead of weapons. Been doing all sorts of farming runs atm. Some Crucible every now and then, when it starts to get boring I go back to campaign and farm nemesis’ and so on. Also been looking forward for the Siegebreaker to drop and felt really silly once I realized that it’s a craftable shield…
So I finally managed to get the full Warborn set and been testing it a bit. Got the last two pieces, mace and shoulders, from gambling. At first I didn’t enjoy the fact that I now have War Cry as another button to press, but that was probably because I was trying to play it like I do with Markovian set, hammering buttons like crazy. Planning to level another Witchblade so I’ll have the other using Markovian set, and the other with Warborn set. Also interested in testing Warborn Commando.
anyone willing to post optimal items / skills for comfortably farming gladiator crucible?

Is the markovian set still no.1 for witchblades? Warborn is useless? What about 2h witchblades, are they any good? Sorry for so many questions, i’m actually trying to figure whether to start leveling a witchblade or not and didn’t want to make a new thread.
Only got 1 piece of markovian, and a warborn mace.
They have similar clear speeds. Markovian Proc is more ideal for me. Warborn Mace MIGHT be a better upgrade over farming a MI with the right affixes, but haven’t gotten one to try.
No comments on 2h, but figure Savagery/Primal Strike/Bleeders would be more beneficial.
I never tried a Bonescythe Axe, but from my testing Warborn Gavel is the best legendary weapon for this build. No physical conversion to another type, flat physical damage and around 90% physical damage. Plus attack speed, health and +2 to Cadence.
Appeal of MI is the Tyrant’s affix, large phys damage, AS with Of Alacrity, most of the same benefits of the Warborn aside from hp/+skills, but you get the Resist Shred effect of Tyrant’s. So I’d be curious to test, but since I do have the Bonescythe, it works for me at the moment.

Been leveling a new guy since 1.0.0.6 and not farming Cruc. Also. You kill me. :furious:
My post was directed at the people who don’t to spend hours trying to get Bonescythe Axe with the right prefixes and suffixes. Even though getting a Warborn Gavel by yourself is time consuming as well. But at least it’s much easier to get through a trade since it’s a stats fixed item.
And to be perfectly honest, the Tyrant prefix is not that appealing to me. Oleron’s Might does the job just fine and Oleron’s Blood is a really nice component anyway, so it’s a win-win to me.
I actually got mine in like 3 runs of Secret Shop, not perfect rolls or anything, but still more fortunate than a WB gavel.
i ran the shop around 150 times in total (after some time i started counting :undecided:) and best i got was barbaric bonescythe of alacricity and tyrant’s bonescythe (no suffix) :rolleyes:
also got around 6-7 tabs of legendaries and not a single markovians chest / amulet dropped.
Cronley finally gave me Crushing Cronley’s signet ring of Attack, which was a nice upgrade for my Markovian Witchblade. Tried to squeeze it for my Warborn-WB first, but I lost a crapton of elemental resists when I changed Open Hand of Mercy with the Cronley ring. Tried multiple different item setups too and every item I equipped seemed to turn one of my resists into total trash. Really not sure what to do with my Warborn setup atm. Any help would be appreciated:
I’m using Drizzto’s devotion setup on page 60 with some minor tweaks, main difference being that I went with Tip the Scales instead of Wayward Soul on the Chariot of the Dead constellation.
EDIT: Managed to squeeze the Cronley ring to my Warborn-WB by dropping Scales, grabbing Sailor’s Guide and lowering my Aether resists a bit with augments.
