[1.0.0.4] Tri-element Saboteur 2.0 - A (mostly) craftable build. 15sec madqueen etc

Haha, thanks. I appreciate any positive/negative feedback. I can record some Saboteur gameplay too, if anybody is interested.

Don’t ask us, you make us interested

Okay, lets see what I can serve you guys within the next days.

Yes, I’ve seen your video and that’s what I’ve been doing (Still have to farm Cronley for 3000 to reach Nemesis)… Thanks for the video Jägermeister. Give us more!!

This is my first character, self-found so it has been a long road… lol

Off Topic:

Which build do you advise me to use to farm in this version?

And to play Crucible? I havnt tried it yet and I don’t know anything about it’s mechanics…

Any builds (links) advised?

Thanks for the help

Thank you for the compliments.

Yes, first char farming can be a chore, espacially solo self found. For Nemesis Reputation on Cronley I did Devil’s Crossing Bountys on my first char. Just skip all crafting, Aetherial and Beast stuff, just accept Cronley related killing Bountys. And after finishing all those Bountys in the session, kill Cronley.

Well, I don’t like farming Gladiator Crucible and I rather tend to farm Challenger extra spawns. But if you can finish Gladiator within 25 minutes reliably, go for it. But you need some sweet gear to do so. So Challenger might suit you better in the beginning.
But just on the first three pages here in the build section, there are many capable Crucible farmers presented.

It also depends on the gear you already have found, which build you aim for next, if you want to be really effective. I rather enjoy playing the stuff I find interesting, without too much min/maxing. But that’s easy to say, with a full stash, I guess.

Commando, Sorcerer, Witchblade and maybe Blademaster are some of the best suited atm, imo. But there are even more Builds well geared for Gladiator. Just picking a few out of many here: Superfluff’s Commando, JoV’s Commando, JoV’s Sorcerer, Narukana’s Sorc, Drizzto’s Witchblade, Jajaja’s Witchblade (bit outdated, rather with Warborn Set), Death’s Demise’s Blademaster, Weyu’s Blademaster

As for Crucible Mechanics, just read the Gameguide and try it out! Main goal is beating all the monster waves.
With the Saboteur, you should be able to beat Challenger even without all the gear. Spam Flashbang and Mines with Eldritch Fire and Elemental Storm attached; kill everything. Don’t forget the Cruicible Buffs. At Challenger, no Banners needed. Watch out for your Stun Resistance and put a Leathery Hide into your helmet.

Just for farming, Cruicible is better than Vanilla, I guess. But I was bored rather quickly and just hit the Arena for fun from time to time. You can farm in Vanilla too, if you have your farming routes set.

Stick to solo self found, it’s most fun imo and very rewarding. Even though it can be frustrating at some times (just found my first Deathmarked Shoulders two days ago. Moneybags Martin dropped them. Yay!)

I’m new to this game, and have thoroughly enjoyed playing this build so far. Are the two best endgame daggers still the elite firestarters?

Thanks to Jaeger for trying to keep this build updated as well.

Can anyone please give me advise on my devotions? I am using the original build still, I just finished oklaine’s lantern and was still only at 14 green, so I put a point in green and started on ulzuin’s torch. can anyone please advise me on what the current optimal devotions are? this is my first character so I don’t have any of the optimal gear, however my resists are ok and i’m currently farming in elite.

Take a look into the Grimtools setup.

One question, where do you get your 15% reduced Stun duration?

If you open up the Devotion Map, there is one point put into Empty Throne.
You can up that by having some nicely rolled Stonehide Boots, but I didn’t want to add all those godly rolled rare Items into the build.

Wouldn’t it be faster if someone levels me by doing Crucible?

Wouldn’t it be faster if someone just levels me by doing Crucible?

hey Jager, thanks for responding… i’m progressing through ultimate but still dying too much. i fucked up and put 20 points into cunning (this was my first character) but i’ve advanced so far I feel like I can at least use this guy to farm stuff. would you recommend starting over with a different character since I won’t be able to use end-game gear?

anyhow, I did as you suggested and put my guy into grimtools so maybe you can give me some pointers: i have to post one more time before I can post links lol, so let me do it on the next reply.

http://www.grimtools.com/calc/rYZeeQZ8 - there’s the link to my char - anyone please feel free to give me some advice

You are not using haunted steel and that is probably one of the main reasons you are dying. Also you should try to find a replacer for your chest and leg armor, they are both very low level items with bad armor values. Also, your belt is not doing much good for you since you use fire damage, not pierce. You can probably find better chest piece at some factions vendor. 700 armor is VERY low.

Overall your gear is pretty low quality, i would do some farming on epic, or maybe some ultimate hive runs if you can do them without dying too much.

As Kekkuli said, your gear is your main concern atm. I guess, this is your first char?
Can you craft the Elemental Balance Rings? If not, try to farm a nice pair of Cronley’s Signets. Without Justice set, which provides a lot of denfense, the build ends up squishy.
You also should skill into the Fiend Devotion. The skill will dish out a lot of DPS, binded to FS and also will provide some nice ADCTH due to % Weapon Damage inflicted.

Your Leg Armor is fine imo, the rest falls short indeed. Try to farm more Blueprints, if you are missing that many. Treasure Trove (BoC entrance, Kilrian and Tyrant’s Hold) runs and Challenger Crucible will help. Try to hit wave 110 to 120 and stop after, if you can’t complete Challenger atm.

It is no problem dying on your first char. My first char has about 300 deaths on his back, I think.

Haunted Steel can help too atm. I’d replace it later on, but for now, more ADCTH is always welcome.

Hi guys

How do I put my build here with GRimcalc and new Grimtools so that I can get your opinion on my build ?

I will comment on my build with my questions if i can get the links in her.

Thank you
Gogga

Hey thanks a ton guys, and yeah this is my first char. so far i’ve had real shit luck with the blueprints, i haven’t got a single one that’s useful. as I said earlier it’s getting difficult in the later levels because i screwed up and didn’t put all my points into physique and I’m finding a lot of stuff i simply can’t use.

that being said, i’d like to at least be able to use this guy to farm (even if I can’t complete ultimate on him) I’m comfortable doing Cronley runs (I start dying a lot around Arkovian undercity) in Ultimate… is that a good place to start?

edit: I chose Kymon’s faction so i don’t have the damn haunted steel thing either LMAO

2nd edit: should I drop one of my current devotions for Fiend or should I just farm the devotion points in crucible and use my last ones on that?

You should drop 3 points from ulzuins torch. Those burn damage nodes and that proc aren’t really that important. Also drop raise the dead, you don’t need it. And finally, remove point from eldricht crossroad. Now you have 5 points for fiend.

it says that revenant and ulzuin’s torch require the crossroads points, also it won’t let me remove the point from raise dead because it says it is relying upon it’s own affinity?
