sorry im not good with guide, just like to theory crafting build.
item build work with all class just that some are weaker, over 100 hours testing with all the class, ill add other class later.
overall a small nerf, still rekt face.
you can go for revenant and wendigo devotion for safer play.
as for every1 else who dont like MI, w/e boots, Fang of Ch’thon or Claw of Hagaraz with 1 point in call of the grave.
as for apostate, still work but 1min slower for crucible
seal of blade/fire and ice ring changes hit apostate abit, worser on blademaster thats for sure.
The clear time is indeed impressive, however keep in mind that OP is using alot of dreamy MIs in his setup which I think are impossible to obtain at the moment due to the rare affix issues ;).
I am leveling an apostate that is almost identical so far except for the MIs and even without the whirling blades procs (assigning flame torrent and wendigo mark to inq seal and rune of hag instead), it works amazingly well.
I hope you consider fleshing out the build post a little at some point.
Vitality Melee Ritualist/Cabalist - could use some more options, despite being good
Aether DK - could use some new options, but is top tier
Aether Defiler - Good but again needs support
Necro has some solid skills but I want more items for it. Look at inquisitor, it has dedicated sets for all three of its caster skills. Not to mention the amount of bonuses inquisitor has on items
Another thing is relics, I am not sure if its doable but Vitality Decay relic - Uroboruuk’s Reaping skill Reaping Arc is melee locked. I hope they consider removing melee locking from it.
Necro is a good class despite lacking item support but I’d like some more Necro themed items despite the ones we already have being good they still don’t support some Necro playstyles
Well that seems a bit unfair. There’s already going to be a fix regarding the whirling blades, so the build automatically looses some proc magic after the patch. About converting everything to vitality and stacking… well you can replace vitality with any damage type in that sentence and the only factor that changes is the ADCtH aspect that is typically associated with vitality, which is why vitality doesn’t typically compare to equal measures of stacking/RR as other damage types DPS.
You do no DPS when your dead, so leeching everything and still hitting things hard and killing them fast, which also improves your leech is still fundamentally better
Yes but it pays for being fundamentally better by doing less DPS than some alternatives and not having the same panic options or range.
My point being, there’s at least 2 or 3 other posted caster builds I personally know of that are crapping all over gladiator right now that are not using the same mechanics (low CD spellbinder comes to mind) or relying on whirling blades bug either (which is already slated to be fixed).
Sure, it’s going to get nerfed knowing how things go around here and the meta will once again adapt with posted vs. unposted godbuilds. I’m just saying there’s a bunch of other double rare MI builds that are dominating besides this one vitality focused build. That’s all.
(Only reason I consider it a bit unfair is that using an absolutely bleeding edge MI build as a metric to nerf has a peeing upriver effect on casual players that run more realistically geared builds.)
Woah, can someone get me up-to-date on godtier builds at the moment? So necromancer based vitality ones are apparently that? What else? Aether DK? Who does he even do? Is that because of the weapon that conversts 100% of forcewave damage to aether?
