Weapon damage on paper exceeds even the Korba-Malkadarr Trickster thanks to the multi-conversion. In reality though it’s a mediocre build struggling with low attack speed, low oa, energy issues and most of all, despite pretty high adcth, a major case of squishiness.
I’ll be completely honest - I’ve been slacking a bit in the optimization division here. These might be some options:
Purple Alkamos Rings might be an upgrade but the oa… Besides, I don’t have the full set.
Hagarrad Gloves might be better too but, again, even that 30-40 oa and a few more points to attack speed from Iceskorn are invaluable. And maxed out Lethal Assault… I feel naked without it…
Without Stonehide Kuba Chausses, Stormtitan boots will fix the acid res. They might even be better here anyway for the health. Bloody Crystal in place of one of the Runebound Topazes will fix bleed res.
Also, skill points might need some shuffling. I’m not an expert on GD math. Please contribute.
Try out if you will. All comments welcome. In the meantime, Imma go slice stuff with Belgothian/be invincible with a binder.
You are doing it wrong. Maldacarr Kobra is strong not only because he wear two quadro-hander worth swords, but also because he has a huuuge multiplier of such dmg and enough RR to make sure the dmg connect.
No doubt Korba trickster is superior. This one, though, has 16-17.5k on 2650% cold with average rolls which isn’t at all bad. More RR can be done by taking full Silver Sentinel set.
Yes, it is. One thing’s that it’s a caster weapon in a pure autoattack build. Then, yeah, attack speed - forces you to sacrifice a lot to get it elsewhere. The point was to capitalize on flat vitality from the necromancer line and that Ulzaad is doing quite well. Here’s a fixed version:
The problem with your damage idea here is you spend a lot of effort to add 128 more cold damage to your attacks (thats the total soul harvest contribution). A 16 point savagery would add a X1.5 multiplyer to all your attacks even w/o a kobra helm for conversion. Add in the ele RR on raging tempest and shaman based cold attackers will win every time hands down.
Also shaman gets tenacity of the boar and 30% health passive to deal with the squishyness to a degree.
Well, there’s also some frostburn from Necrotic Edge and Harbinger of Souls. But yeah, this is more of a brain teaser. It can’t hold a candle to top tier builds like the cold trickster.
But tbh I don’t exactly know why… On paper, dmg is ok. In practice it hardly ever crits over 120k unbuffed. Is it oa? Rr? % crit?
