I was just levelling with a 2-handed weapon, I swapped to Howl of the Wendigo at 94. Though, maybe a 2-handed version would be stronger.

Build looks really fun to play! I’ve actually been browsing builds to try out Scion of the Screaming Veil lately (Deathknight, Spellbinder, Oppressor). Any thoughts on how comfy the build is to play vs, say, Callidor’s Tempest Spellbinder with basically the same gear?

Also, maybe I’m missing something, but am I correct in assessing that you skip Bone Harvest transmuter because you value additional AOE range over damage there?

I have not played a CT spellbinder, so I can’t compare but it is really easy gameplay with it. It could go a lot higher in SR. Yes BH is because of the range.

Hello everyone,

Very dynamic and fun build. Thank you Duchy. I was looking for an aether build, it’s a very good one.
I’m presently using the same items but the helm, because Krieg’s Mask didn’t want to drop … if someone got one to trade … i’ve put a Ravager’s Dreagaze in place, the -15% aether resist seems to be not so bad.

Also with pharma and good playing skills you can kill Ravager with this build. It is quite fast actually. Most of the time he can be facetanked.

Nice build btw I was going to try that weapon with oppressor, aether righteous fervor but lacking aoe and not being able to bind arcane bomb to GoE was scared me so I never tried. If I use double band of the eternal haunt does the proc stack? If it does I can use bonemonger and double eternal haunt and get another devotion to bind righteous fervor.

I could easily be misinterpreting things, but there was a change to Conduit of Undying Whispers that may have a substantial effect.

I see that all conversions are to aether in the GT link on the Conduit. In the game it is the same as well. So no problem there

I am retesting my older builds for SR 80. I revisited this build and it can do SR 80 easily.

I don’t like to play SR much but SR 65-66 and SR 80 are easily accessible. So I will from now on test my builds in SR 80 as well.
