[1.1.7.2-1.1.9.4] Chaos Ray Warlock (SR 100, 4:48 Fastest Crucible, Crate, Callagadra, Ravager of Minds)

true, I was just saying that hp from Coven’s chaos augments might be ~the same tankiness as DA from Ravager’s eyes. Worth testing out imo.

Added SR 100 bosses and slightly changed grimtools.

It was 2020, and people were still putting Aethereach in chaos AAR builds. After Aethereach’s nerfs Doomtouch is better now.

In any case, congratulations, there was someone who combined all our developments

I tested them in crucible, they have the same results as aethereach. And thanks.
Also added faster run with attuned lodestone and without devastation

Added Crate kill: https://youtu.be/-C3ae7XqG1s
Really tough fight, the build is not meant to kill this boss, but it’s doable.

Finally beat 5 min mark with some lucky spawns: https://youtu.be/77t0LCZcF8E

1.1.8.0 UPDATE:
The build got even stronger this patch, by getting 2000 flat chaos damage to AAR, but it will get nerfed on the next hotfix.

Where i can find Vestments of Severed Faith and mythical version?

Welcome to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:

Most drops in the game are random so you could find them anywhere.

Hey,
Great build and discussion - thanks a lot.

I have a question regarding AAR chaos transmution: Why does every build include full points in Overload? I don’t understand how these damage types get any real benefit from the build. Or is it soo good that even without multipliers its a must have? Or do you just need the aether resistance from it?

Cheers

Overload is taken because of Offensive Ability points and Aether Resistance. It is good for every Arcanist build in general.

What @Willnoword said, it’s generally good for the Offensive ability and the Aether resistance it provides.
Also the build could use a tiny overhaul in terms of Skill point distribution, like softcapping Sigil of Consumption and changing devotion bindings for less piano playstyle.

What @Willnoword and @Retal_Abuser said + Arcanist has Crit Damage on AAR and Elemental Balance,
so OA benefits it more than other builds on average. Also more OA looks good in Grim Tools. Fact.

What would you change to make the build "less piano?

Something like this https://www.grimtools.com/calc/4NOy4BYV
You don’t have to use doom bolt and devastation so you can use bloody pox as a Raise the Dead proccer and a charge ability for Hungering Void.

Maybe also get rid of Flame Torrent to have 1 less devo to proc?

No, it does pretty good dmg with that flat/% and conversion. I think it’s too good to pass on. There aren’t any other good alternatives on the devotions anyways.

Updated Hourglass spec Warlock, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.4) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator and posted some new videos. Overall the build lost damage

a devotion path would be a blessing to have to follow - thanks

Red Crossroads > Fiend > Ghoul > Wretch > Spider > Solael’s Witchblade > Sailor’s Guide > Eel > Lizard > Revenant > Remove the red crossroad point > Dying God > Aeon’s Hourglass > 3 points in Wendigo

Don’t thank me (:
