[1.1.9.1 - 1.2.1.5] Abyss Unapproachable - Chaos Infernal Knight Pyromancer [sr+][mi][vid]

This Pyromancer is also updated for 1.2.0.3 patch. Here are some changes:

  • Bloodsworn Scepter: increased Chaos damage modifier for Sigil of Consumption to 50-220
  • Lagoth’Ak’s Voidbinding: added +1s Duration modifier for Blackwater Cocktail
  • Mythical Voidwalker Footpads: reduced Cooldown on the granted skill
  • The Infernal Champion Set: replaced bonus to Thermite Mine with +3 to Demon Fire and increased % Total Speed bonus to 16%. Added 220 Fire damage modifier for Judgment. Increased Fire damage modifier for Blackwater Cocktail to 60.
  • Mythical Infernal Knight’s Girdle: replaced % Cast Speed with 74 Defensive Ability
  • Mythical Infernal Knight’s Jacket: replaced bonus to Thermite Mine with +2 to Demon Fire
  • Bat: added 10 Defensive Ability
  • Behemoth: increased Health Regeneration to 110 and % Health Regeneration to 80%. Added 100 Armor for pets and removed % Physical Resist for pets.
  • Ghoul: increased Health Regeneration to 16 and % Health Regeneration to 30%
  • Scales of Ulcama: reduced Energy Regeneration to 2.5 and incrased Health Regeneration to 30 and Defensive Ability to 45
  • Ghoulish Hunger: added % Increased Healing (Forgotten Gods only) and added % Cast Speed
  • Giant’s Blood: increased Duration and Health Regeneration scaling with rank
  • Blackwater Cocktail: increased Duration scaling with rank to 4.5s by rank 12, 6.5s by max ultimate rank
  • Temper: increased Defensive Ability scaling with rank to 120 by rank 12, 220 by max ultimate rank
  • Vindictive Flame: increased Health Regeneration scaling with rank
  • Blood of Dreeg: reduced Cooldown to 12s and increased Duration to 60s. Increased Energy Cost and Health Regeneration scaling with rank. Increased % Heal at scaling at ultimate ranks.
  • Possession: increased % Absorption scaling with rank to 18% by rank 12, 25% by max ultimate rank

New GT link was added, more defensive with Ghoul and Tortoise. And videos - old updated except for Mogdrogen, new posted (Callagadra, Crate, Clones of Bourbon).

1.2.1.0 patch.

  • Blackwater Cocktail, Dreeg’s Evil Eye, Fire Strike and Weapon Pool skills now have new visuals when used with skill modifiers that change their damage (ex. when converted to lightning, they will be visually electric).
  • Bloodsworn Scepter: replaced bonus to Solael’s Witchfire with +3 to Second Rite and increased bonus to Destruction to +3
  • Mythical Voidwalker Footpads: reduced Cooldown on the skill proc
  • Bat: increased Offensive Ability to 15
  • Ghoul: increased % Attack damage Converted to Health to 5%
  • Scales of Ulcama: increased % Attack damage Converted to Health to 5%
  • Turtle: added 80 Armor and 8% Armor. Removed Health and % Physical Resist.
  • Blast Shield: reduced Cooldown to 9s
  • Temper: increased Defensive Ability scaling with rank to 180 by rank 12, 330 by max ultimate rank
  • Vindictive Flame: reduced Health Regeneration scaling at ultimate ranks
  • Blood of Dreeg: reduced Health Regeneration scaling at ultimate ranks
  • Aspect of the Guardian: Increased % damage scaling with rank to 100% by rank 12, 210% by max ultimate rank. Reduced % Physical Resist scaling with rank to 10% by rank 12, 13% by max ultimate rank.
  • Solael’s Witchfire: added Defensive Ability scaling with rank and increased % Attack Speed scaling at ultimate ranks to 23% by max ultimate rank. Reduced % Vitality damage scaling with rank to 75% by rank 12, 145% by max ultimate rank.
  • Second Rite: added % Crit damage and % Bleed damage scaling with rank

1.2.1.5 patch.

  • Destruction: added +1s Duration bonus and increased damage scaling with rank. Increased % Vitality damage scaling with rank to 144% by rank 12, 264% by max ultimate rank.
  • Second Rite: increased % Damage scaling with rank to 100% by rank 12, 210% by max ultimate rank and increased % Crit damage scaling with rank to 20% by rank 12, 30% by max ultimate rank

A little bit of nerfs/buffs here and there, visual updates to BwC look nice. In terms of build changes - nothing new, gear/devotions remain same. Screenshots were updated.

Worth getting CoF now since it has -%chaos res?

Definitely. Thinking what points to reallocate (maybe from Flame Touched?). I will update rest of my builds to 1.2.1.5 and when 1.2.1.6 arrives on GOG - the process begins anew :rofl:.

Maybe thermite mines / hellfire mine?

But yeah, flame touched makes most sense because it only provide some OA for you and CoF modifier has DA shred which will make up for that.

And we need as much RR as we can get from masteries, so mines + CoF is a must-have.
