[1.1.9.1] WyreZ' Guide to Support Builds: Healing Supports and How To Build Them

Sure thing. Otherwise, if your friend wants to use their warder as a support, just last night I was designing a heal-tank (support/aggrothief hybrid) intended for DEEP sr (SR 160+, maybe 170+):

The idea of the build is this -
2x wendigo totems paired with 51% healing increase and 7.3k hp regen give this build about 26,190 healing every second (to itself) with all buffs up. Healing to teammates will depend on their HP, but will still be very high as long as they’re within range of the wendigo totems. Keep in mind that healing from totems only works if enemies are also in range of the totems, which is an important factor when considering ‘general healing support’ versus this niche build.

Mythical Untouchable lets you ‘generate additional threat’ while overguard is active, so the AOE skills like Storm Totem and Wind Devil are just there to tag enemies to build aggro while War Cry is on cooldown.

Keeping aggro off your teammates is a good way to support them, and this build does still provide Stone Form, Healing Rain, Mogdrogen’s Pact and Wendigo Totems for teamwide buffs. It also brings Field Command for extra armor, OA, DA, and attack/cast speed for your team.

This build is untested, but from what I understand of deep SR builds, it should work really well as a tank/support hybrid.

With an OA of just under 2k, it is clearly not meant to deal any damage at all on it’s own. Again, this build is not intended to be a solo build

This build is more “specific purpose built” for deep SR, whereas the other builds I recommended above are much better for general team support in most other circumstances (especially in terms of inquisitor seal, physical resistance, and wider-ranged healing).
