I have some quality of life suggestions.
Affix coloring
The 1.2 update added many improvements, and now, when an item is a MI or double rare, we get a proper icon; but i still use one mod – Rainbow Filter. I use it only for affix coloring. It would be great, if the game would support this feature without mods.
Show nemesis trove minimap icon
Please show nemesis trove on minimap; maybe only when guardian (the nemesis boss) is killed.
Save/restore active quest list
At the moment, a quest can be removed from Active Quests list by removing the tick. The issue is that the game doesn’t save/restore its state between character relog. Please make it so.
Show gray star marker when appropriate
Show gray star (instead of golden) on minimap when quest giver has a gray question mark; or don’t show anything, as that marks a npc which will not advance the quest, and this is shown by the gray question mark over npc’ head.
Show minimap tooltips when game paused
The game shows tooltips on player buffs and debuffs when the game is paused – very convenient. Please add same behavior to minimap marks; if possible – please keep the targeted enemy frame when game paused and allow its debuffs also to be inspected this way. Pretty please.
Show unassigned devotion skills
At the moment, its easy to see if there are unassigned attribute points or skill points or unspent devotion points, but to spot unassigned devotion skills you need to actually check all the Devotion tree (drag all around to check all constellations). Please add some indication to quickly see if there are unassigned skills (for example, as shown on the screenshot).
Give iron bits instead of xp at max level
Maybe give iron bits instead of xp when character at max level; also, maybe do same for reputation for a faction in case maximum is reached. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work
Show faction’ epic augments in Factions window
So this is simple to explain, and probably not so simple to add. But basically, i would like to be able to quickly know which factions have which augments (maybe just for epic ones, as those are changed more frequently than others when juggling with resistances). Show tooltip when augment is mouse hovered. In case the player is not Revered with the faction, maybe draw augments in grayscale or don’t show Epic Augments section at all.
Fix inconsistency with npc targeting at some phases
This is actually not a QoL suggestion but seems like a bug. It’s about targeting npc when it changes phases. On the screenshot, you see one of them. Specifically this one has a phase (animation) when it spawns for about 2 seconds; in this phase the npc cannot be targeted (no life bar over the model and no frame at top of the screen) and you cannot use an ability which requires target, but you can use aoe abilities, and they do damage (on the screenshot you can see damage number from War Cry); also, if you have pets, they will attack such untargetable npc no problem. This issue can be seen in many other npcs, for example last boss of AoM, last boss of FG etc.
My opinion, something one should be done:
- or make npc immune for that phase, so it cannot be damaged
- or allow targeting, so it can be damaged by all abilities (not only aoe or pets)
Fix wording of some of “Damage Absorption” effects
Again, this is not a QoL suggestion. And i might not be correct about this one at all. Anyway, here it is. Prismatic Diamond has a proc Prismatic Rage which gives “130 Damage Absorption” effect every 60 seconds and i was thinking it’s quite useless for required player level 45 to even use the component. But i heard that this specific case is different, Prismatic Rage absorbs 130 damage from every hit while the effect is active. So it’s totally different from let’s say Turtle Shell, which gives “6100 Damage Absorption”, which works as you would expect – absorbs 6100 damage in total.
Maybe these absorption effects should have different wording? For example, renamed Prismatic Rage’ effect to “130 Damage Absorption per Hit”.
