Ty vm! Glad to see so many players having fun🤝
Yesterday I killed Mogdrogen and Ravager of Mind (both on normal, though still feel very accomplished), today finished Elite, reached lvl 100, and earned Revered status with 10 factions (Devil’s Crossing and Barrowholm to go), as well as stepped into Ultimate with all my resistances capped (after going to Ultimate) and dmg feels good.
Looking forward to finishing ultimate and farming SR’s until getting things to try Korba build everyone’s talking about ![]()
For now decided to keep the belt from my previous reply as I didn’t drop any good high lvl gargoyle one yet.
Also, before reaching Revered with black legion I got some random blue boots with nice stats, and it even has +2 to Raging Tempest, which is even more RR, AND +2 to SS, which allows to respec these two points from SS elsewhere (SS was already 26 / 16 before I got them). My SS is 11 + 15 now ![]()
Thank you again for such an amazing guide!
The progression felt very smooth, the directions on where to farm MI’s are very helpful, the order of taking devotions including respecs is a cheffs kiss!
I may suggest one addition to the guide regarding Ascended Diadem: you can only reset-farm it from the Death Vigil quest UNTIL you turn in the quest (or maybe even only until you pick up the quest item from her, saw this on reddit). After that she won’t ever respawn at that place (in that difficulty).
After that, you can farm them (and the shoulders) from Aetherial Vanguard. I got 2 Diadems on Elite just from clearing final act once (I believe they dropped from heroes) and who knows how many on Normal (vendored them all because at the time didn’t know this is my bis item lmao) from everybody’s alltime favorite Port Valbury
Thank you for this nice and detailed feedback!
Yeah, i’m gonna leave a warn about do not completing noveria’s quest until You have a decente ascended diadem ![]()

If i’m not mistaken here i think you can buy these on port valbury Shop too, might save some time and effort on the endgame
If you’re able to defeat celestials and high SR/crucible with this char, please let us know, so we can make this guide better with more details of the build’s performance in endgame
yes you can do that too, but they drop plentiful in the campaign as well. Like askerkarn road, plains of strife, gates of necropolis
Yeah, i found some really nice options on the port valbury’s Shop while looking for armor for my Last warder build, even with the Shop nerf from last patches.
Wondering what would be faster/less boring for the player…
I have a love-hate relationship with “power shopping” ![]()
Hey, a quick heads up:
Today I met Moosilauke for the first time. In Steps of Torment on Ultimate.
Got my ass handed back to me like 4 times ![]()
Then I switched my augment for rings and amulets to Winter’s Chill for freeze res and was able to kill him.
Then I noticed that this aug also has cold dmg boost, so decided to keep it.
DPS is probably lower because no OA and less cold dmg%, but almost maxxed freeze res + chance to freeze on hit sounds good, and the damage is never a problem anyways.
You can drink hoarfrost potion for that fight
Horrible build guide. Went fine until around lvl 33 - now I have the exact setup and equipment and you are one-shotted. Not sure what is missing but this has been a waste of time as written.
Hey there… Do you have a GT link of your char, so i can try to figure what’s happening? Getting one-shotted with this build is a very strange thing
Thanks for the response. I dont have a GT set up as of now but my skill setup is exact and my equipment is either exact or better. I have the 2 swords, and the chest. My Devotion are Tsunami, Rat and about to start behemoth. I don’t see how I could have missed any Devotion points up to where I am but is that possibly the issue?
I definitely wouldnt have expected to go from full health to death in like a second but it is so consistent I am having to back to previous areas to gain any exp. I keep dying on my way to homestead.
You can import your character to Grim Tools.
How are your resistances? Where you are, I usually have them at 80% except Chaos (and Physical).
Well, that’s strange, bcs after farming the two swords, this char become very strong even in early stages of leveling.
Check your resistances, and before completing the behemoth devotion, you should evade enemy most attacks, since this is a very mobile char.
The only resistance that is worse than yours is cold (by quite a bit) - the rest are better. I did notice that one of your screenshots just had a vanilla Murderer’s chest but other have fortitude. Is that going to make much of a difference? I also noticed my sword had the wrong component and corrected that.
Yeah, the armor helps boosting dmg. But getting one-shotted so early in the game seems weird. You are currently playing on normal difficulty?
yes. its not one-shotted so much as going from full-health to dead in the space of a second or two. Thanks for the help but I just won’t be continuing with the build.
Hi, I will begin by saying imp having a blast with your build, but I have a question about the swords, what I’m I looking for? the more cold damage possible or more dps?
Hi there! Ty for the reply! Look mainly for cold damage affixes on the swords!
I really liked how your build looks — very visually appealing. I want to try it out.
But at the beginning, you mentioned there might be a problem:
some monsters reflect damage.
How do you deal with that?
How can this issue be solved, and how can you recognize such enemies?
I’m looking at the GrimTools for your level 100 character, and I see - 0% reflected damage resistance
How come? Why is that?
