First of all thank you for the guide, I am leveling atm and as I was farming for the weapons these are the first 2 that dropped no joke.
This has to be crazy lucky right? Not the biggest player of GD so I only assume

Monster Infrequent items (such as these axes) have a bias toward affixes that match their own damage type(s), so fire affixes are more common on a fire-oriented weapon, cold on a cold weapon etc. Itās not 100% though. There is still RNG.
TLDR, these are lucky drops, but they are not insanely lucky.
Ah cool. So in the future on higher difficulties I should expect to find similar ones with ease so to say.
Well, relative ease ![]()
Great guide! I just started my first hardcore character with this; itās kind of fun to be scraping every chest and tree trunk when starting out. And in hardcore, keeping one finger on the heal button and always being aware of surroundings. Iāve gone to 84; still havenāt committed to Nightblade as the second class as Iām still hoping to find the start of the Ulzuin set (in which case Iāll go sorcerer for the cooldown) - if I were to commit to finding Emberās Calling, saboteur is a given. Until then Zarthuzellanās Codex is a viable offhand choice and gives decent cooldown. With a second good Riftclaw Slicer, one can still go 2-weapon with Korvaakās Brand or a relic, although you lose the RR from VoS - not that essential while still farming on Elite. Although on hardcore, I am really reluctant to give up the Mark of Divinity until I get end gear. Thanks for sharing!
[Edit: I should say this is my second HC character (same build) as the first had a⦠tragic incident when underestimating ādangerous terrainā and pierced a half-dozen times by trash undead crossbows - which was a valuable lesson in above-mentioned heightened situation awareness - now I never take even trash mobs for granted.]
So replying to myself - I did find 4 pieces of Emberās Calling and played the transmute lottery so⦠Saboteur it was. Entered Ultimate after factioning to get the right resist augments. I still am using the Vilgazor amulet, and kept Grenado, because more bombs, right? (Having rolled a Gollus double-rare Aetherfire of Arcane Balance decided me). First nemesis encounter on Ultimate, Kubakubra⦠so Iām watching my skill button to see if Ulzuinās kicks in for the 100% cooldown, bomb rotating⦠and I blinked and yes, 1-2-4 Kubas dead in a few seconds. The damage from your build is amazing, much more than the Ulzuin set, but a little more fragile I think. SR 20-21 there were a few moments where Sabotinhaās health just vanished in a blink (Iron Maiden, I should have realized given your fair warning about low phys res), but Blast Shield kept her alive enough to get a frantic breather. Great job again!
Hey man sorry to hear your saboās gone.
But thatās it, some classes like sabo, defiler, pyromancer, deceiver can be somewhat squishy even with all the defensive layers we buildā¦
But the main goal here is to have fun, right?
Not a meta build but still fun to play ![]()
Thank you the the reply and for this nice feedback, i appreciate ![]()
No, she made it, although I got the āheartbeatā. Iām not sure which circuit breaker kicked in - I also was porting the Prismatic Diamond in the head slot. But, it was my own fault, as Iād gotten a bit complacent thanks to the magnificent health regen in your build - Iād just forgotten your warning about low phys res (and she doesnāt have phys res pants due to needing resists in a pair of Solael-sects). Close shave. Your build is solid.
