I think %all damage scales it, it certainly isn’t resisted by Chthonic enemies. Kind of a weird one tbh. I’m sure our resident GD mech geniuses @tqFan @Gnomish_Inquisition could be of more assistance than myself

Flat racial was counted as flat physical iirc from Ceno explaining it?
which made it less exciting or something in effect in terms of what defences it was impacted by? but unsure if the less excitement about it had any relation to +% scaling, or if it simply then wasn’t scaled by anything on top.
Legit dont’ remember what it was/what was said back then , other than flat racial not being as poggers as it might initially appear

I do remember that discussion actually, I think I remembered it as being underwhelming compared to what it could be and it’s moreso there for flavour; although I could be wrong.

But HERE is a better version with 100% WPS with 22/22/22 Cadence… I’ll take the hit since it has +60% WD and flat Piercing to Cadence anyways!

put 1pt in veterancy, that way you only need 880 physique and can slap 13more attributes in cunning for moar dakka

I’m confused about the stats a little. My GDTools sheet says 30k+ weapon damage, in game it’s 20k. 
And then somehow my cadence is 150-164k damage with my vaultkeeper medal, but when I replace it with gutworm it’s slightly less?? Shouldn’t that 100 flat be way more than the +3 I loose from ranged expertise and the flat on the medal? What’s going on here?

XY buffs on vs not ingame
depends on deadly momentum buff/point coverage i’d guess (20 flat +90% pierce vs whatever you’re getting up/down on DM minus no native dmg on gutworm)
There’s three buffs in the temp buffs category on GT: WoR, DM, Seal. Even with all of those up I only go up to 23-26k not 30k
DM is the same on both as it’s overcapped when simply replacing the medal to gutworm. Is the 100 flat on Cadence itself, or does it also go through %WD? Because that could explain why it’s not better. Cadence has roughly 500%WD, so 20 flat somewhere is the same as 100 flat on cadence then? My medal has… 15-24 phys… 
somehow it’s not showing the scaled value in game?? So that’s on average about 20.

flat to a direct attack skill never goes through wd and is just direct flat
the 20 on Vault+15 from expertise is going through the 5x wd mult
so that’s 150 instead of just 100
Gutworm is for DM/if we don’t get hardcapped Dm without usually (imo/aside from green fluff stats like Cutthroat). With Dm hardcapped it’s probably relatively easy to consider other medals with flat bonuses
then you probably low rolled something

I see. I did get one with 200+%pierce which resulted in a little more total damage than my current medal. So it’s not all bad, but not worth farming more for
To be 50% (or 30% depending how you look at it) short on damage you’d have to roll everything low and I’ve got a max roll on the flat on my weapon. So… 
something’s weird somewhere.

it’s why i mentioned the buff stuff, because one of the most common misalignments i’ve had is forgetting DM or such brief duration buff (more common back when they were like 3-5? secs ofc)
Making me be all confused where my GT sheet dmg went missing
tho i’ve also had it fall the otherway, where it got skewed by ex accidentally trigger Ulzaad in the shot to get DM/LA etc present
