[1.2.1.6] (Squeeze-out Edition) WarBorn Leviathan Death Knight(Ravager of Flesh: 1m 1s; Callagadra: 1m 12s; Mogdrogen: 1m 25s; no-MI, no-doping, All 3 Superboss killer; SR 35+)

That proc does a fraction of the damage output of the build. Remember, your main attack is cadence and you need WPS to do the heavy lifting here.

The skill has become a wps which is a buff imo, one button less to press (not interrupting your main hand damage/leech anymore) and especially for 2h builds which sometimes starve on good wps its a bonus despite the damage is less to compensate

it’s not a wps
got changed from manual activated, “player” granted skill, to passive proc/automatic activated like most item skills, but that’s far from the same as being a wps

Leviathan DK definitely doesn’t starve for WPS; and as Gnomish mentioned that granted proc isn’t a WPS.

‘on attack’ damage skill vs ‘activates off of default weapon attacks’

My bad - apologies for confusing.

Long time No see… like wringing water from a dry towel, to squeeze even a single percentage point more out of my Death Knight’s performance, which seemed impossible to improve further, I resolved to try a skill distribution I had never attempted before, Specifically, I reallocated some points from War Cry to Fighting Spirit. The performance boost was astonishing. Therefore, I named this version the ‘Squeeze-Out Version’.

There is just one thing i dont understand. Why do you use the scales devotion when you already have break morale all the time.

To resolve the overall energy shortage issue, to withstand the Ravager of Flesh’s energy drain attack, to take 5% life leech, and reduce enemies’ resist to some piercing/Aether/elemental damage from other constellations and other skills.

Hey, I noticed that in the last GT link the chaos res is not capped.
I wonder if it’s because the build is specifically optimized for fighting celestials and they don’t do much chaos damage, or because the build lives fine even without capped chaos res in most situations?

GrimTool does not display specifications accurately. I have added the Squeeze-out Edition Specification to the main text. While defeating Celestials is the primary goal for my builds, I always keep high-tier SR in mind as well.

Grimtools shows build with average rolls on items

Naive question, why do we put so many points on soul harvest while this is a physical damage build? Thanks.

avg 75% conversion on all the flat dmg (100% vit, 50% cold), which adds to bigger cadence bonks
Soul Harvest flat dmg buff being decent amount, and global, is why you often see it taken on a lot of weapon attack builds

Thank you for the explanation. Make a lot of sense. :+1:

I’m a bit late to the party, but “grimtools shows average rolls” is not a redeeming notion, it actually makes things worse.
Because it means the actual build may end up with even less chaos res with unlucky rolls.

yup that is true

Why the Kymon augment on the boots? Why lightning res need to be above others?

It seems you’re looking at a save file from an edition other than the Squeeze-out Edition. I don’t know which edition the save file you downloaded is from, but I probably replaced the shoe augment with the Kaimon Augment to boost lightning resistance for the fight against Mogdrogen. Just ignore the augment you saw and focus on the equipment, devotions, and skill allocation.

Thank you!
I’m leveling a DK based on your build and I was withdrawing to choose my second class because necros can’t choose Kymon.
