Thanks for your details. I will follow your guide to see how far I can get

You could probably push shadow strike further as the onslaught spender than what I did. I just wanted to get to the ā€œfinal buildā€ playstyle asap

I noticed that going for Ultos and Leviathan is a common choice, but it seems you went for more survivability instead.
Do you think it’s strictly necessary or it would be possible to go for the more offensive ones?

For example, I went for Chariot of the dead, Hyrian and Leviathan and it’s going ok for me. But I’m still leveling, doing the base campaign on ultimate and haven’t even tried harder content. I know my defenses are worse in comparison. How screwed I’ll be when I try content where the mobs hit harder?

Mobs hit harder in 1.3 and in FoA areas. And then we have ascendant mode… 2k armor and almost no phys res? Be prepared for a though ride…

Final endgame builds uses legendary gear and other stuff to get like 20-25% phys res and more than 20k hp without loosing dmg, so they can roll lower armor.

If you are not playing HC you can try a more offensive devo map. And, I like Blizzard proc more than Leviathan proc

The ā€œoffensiveā€ devo map going for ulo and leviathan gives +650% cold dmg, my devo map gives +380%. Now consider that you have +1800% elsewhere (gear, masteries, spirit etc) we are comparing +2450% with +2180% i.e. 25.5 / 22.8 → 12% more cold dmg

why do my Ugdenbog Chillstrife - Rare One-Handed Dagger - Grim Dawn Item Database require level 55 but yours are 44?

There are two things that matters

  1. the base item level
  2. the affixes

it depends on the monster level (which depend on your level) which ones you’ll get

Here are all the base items for chillstrife Search - Grim Dawn Item Database

As you can see, they have level 40, 55, 70, 82 and 94

what level were you when you killed Janaxxia? If you are too high, she will drop level 55 stuff. So, you’ll have to wait a bit before you can use it

Dang you’re quick lol, thanks for the guide <3 i am level 48 right now

They changed a bit regarding onslaught stacks, so I have to figure out an update

EDIT: done with update, we lost 1 onslaught stack and about 200 armor in the ā€œend of guideā€ build. On the other hand, autoattacks gained about 10% dps so I guess its almost ā€œfineā€, I felt no difference

Amazing work, brother!! Loved it!! Congrats

I completed my Bloodmane legendary set tonight. Seems like it would go well with this build?

Are you still playing this build? And if so, would you be able to post an upgraded version after farming in endgame for a while? My Reaver is my first 100 in this game so just looking for some more direction.

actually bloodmane set is a cold/bleed hybrid set focusing on blade spirits and autoattacks. I was thinking about making something like this but adapted for reaver instead of veilwalker Veilwalker, Level 100 (GD 1.3.0.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator by @RxJunkie however it seems like the set does not work as intended for blade spirits Blade spirit modifiers of Awakened Bloodmane only work on Blade Eruption so I postponed that idea until devolopers comment on / fix this. EDIT: will be fixed in next patch 1.3.0.7

Here someone just posted a reaver build centerer around the bloodmane set Blade Spirit Reaver

in order to push the playstyle of autoattack + onslaught stacked ring of steel, I suggest you look in the thread linked to in the beginning of the guide, i.e. Korba set builds. I might go down a similar road with this char, and just start a new reaver for a Bloodmane set focused build :stuck_out_tongue:

Bloodmane set could work as small upgrade and thus as a placeholder until you have the korba set, it grants some nice global bonuses like attack speed, skillpoints and physical resistances.
