I’m pretty sure I slowed down footage to just manually count before and saw 10.
Nope, definitely 12

for budget version, why dual Siff rings?
Because of inherent %pierce?
crazy, not surprised though from how much dmg is dished out
I am leveling now, following everything so far and must say I am having a really hard time on veteran… I dont know what i am doing wrong, both gear and passives are 90% matched but word of pain never oneshot packs I mean never and single target on these low levels is pretty much ass. I am saying this by comparing to any other build i leveled up to 36 for example, I could kill Amalgamation and all other bosses in a2… strange… but I am not giving up… I will get this until the 100
The reason you’re struggling with it is because this is one of those builds that only work well at endgame. I’ve leveled a similar setup earlier and it was a real pain in hardcore, though I still managed to start on veteran and skip elite entirely to jump straight into ultimate as soon as my res were ok. If going SSF it’s all rng based and you have no choice but use whatever is available to have high enough stats both damage and toughness wise.
If you don’t care what build to use for leveling then I’d suggest focusing on other skills. You can basically blast through the game just by going chaos werewolf for example and only use WoP for RR.
I dont know man, I just switch to my Drain Essence ritualist and shit literally melts with right click and I also have suggested items on ultimate. I dont play hard core or solo self found, I dont care if I die here and there but with this build i am literally unable to have good time because I die like a lot as my dmg is dogwater…
WoP is ticking too slow… mobs die but not fast enough and single target is weak… I mean I am lvl 37 so far, but comparing to drain essence this is literally 2/10 feel and gaming experince lol
I’m using Lokarr’s (which is notoriously painful) and I’m doing okay on Elite and I’m like 56 or so. It’s a bit of a pain, but I farmed for the crossbow (and everything else) on Normal and used Silverbolt until I got the right bow. Doesn’t hurt that I’m using GD Item Assistant (not GDStash), so I had quite a bit of stuff already locked in for every 10 levels or so.
WoP is ticking too slow if you don’t invest into it. You can easily max out all its nodes, add two daggers from act 2 that add massive extra damage (adding flat aether dmg), so at level 35 ish your WoP ticks evaporate heroes in 2 seconds. As soon as you reach Fort Ikon, rush into FOA, the frozen passage right before Kurn, has wights that drop helmet that adds flat chaos and more damage to WoP, then go back to Ikon, kill Log, and rush into AoM, get the medal (massive elemental boost to WoP) and two creeping rings. By level 40 you can max out the entire line 26/16, 22/12. 22/12, having massive elemental, aether, chaos damage on every tick with tons of RR. Yeah it’s not a shotgun vs thicc bosses but makes leveling pretty fast.
Another good option is going with rune of kalastor (lightning version), which essentially oneshots everything in existence until Ultimate.
I am pretty new player so all these suggestions are way in depth to me and strange (dont know what daggers to pick up, dont know leveling routes etc… For weapon I have The Eye as suggested i have Rhowari from A2 items, Gunslinger talisman all points for lvl 37 minus 2 devotions thats next I am going to do and following strictly what guide says. On the other hand, dont get me wrong or autor of this build, I am following RSnoomak’s Vitality Drain Essence Ritualist Leveling Guide and now entered AoM with a huge blast, I have melted everything, on that char I am lvl 54
I will take your notes and try to figure out what to do. Thank you.
I totally understand. RSNoomak’s guides are pretty good, and there’s nothing wrong with leveling via Drain Essence. It’s just so happens that some skills are much better during leveling compared to others. Especially for beginners. Some skills are very very strong but require in-depth game knowledge. Also the feel can change multiple times during the process. One skill can feel OP during normal and elite but gets very slow in Ultimate until you obtain required gear to support it. And vice versa.
Wait until you get to level 50, when you reach Barrowholm. I labelled it as the powerspike act for a reason, AoE with Wendigo Eye starts feeling much m
I’m a total noob, so I really don’t know when to make the transition to Elite or Ultimate.
Is it OK to go Ultimate, skipping Elite, around level 60 with most of the recommended gears?
Or is it better to finish all the DLC etc. in veteran?
There’s no strict rule, it depends on your current gear and build performance. If you have enough dps and resistances, can farm Ultimate relatively easily, - skip Elite. But I’d still unlock all the factions on veteran / normal first before jumping into ultimate, so that you keep gaining rep.
I take the ‘easy’ shrines in normal so I have around 30-35 at lv50, then go Elite, take the remaining shrines and then I’m about 65 and jump to ultimate.
In your end game setup it shows you using " Wendigo Lifescent Powder" How are you doing that if we are going to be hostile with Barrowholm?
Read the last section about end-game minmaxing; once you have your perfect weapon, you need to go back to Elite, rush through the campaign until you reach Barrowholm and get friendly with them this time.
Dang! Okay. I missed that. Thank you
Why didn’t you get the helmet’s ascended affix with storm spread for a higher proc chance ?
You can, its indeed better. You give up unknown soldier for rr proc since you’ll now be lacking in a devotion proccer, however the reason I didn’t do it was to achieve a more realistic version of this build. I didn’t spam double greens + perfect ascended affixes as it gets way too expensive. There is much to be optimized if you want a “perfect” build
