1 missing skill point

Hi, there.

I’ve leveled two characters since 1.2 hit and I noticed that each of them is missing exactly one skill point after all quests/SR are done.

I used merits both times, maybe jumping around difficulties somehow messes with quest rewards?

Merits have been around for years without issue. I’ll need to see the save files then.

How can I attach save files?

Your save is located here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\my games\Grim Dawn\save\main_CharacterName

We need the entire _CharacterName folder, so please zip it up along with its contents. You then attach it here or host it on a service such as Google Drive.

So I do see you are missing a skill point. However I can’t seem to find the steps as to how this occurred.

I used a merit, then killed the loghorrean, then proceeded to complete all the attribute/skill point quests on ultimate to end up with the expected 107 attribute points and 248 skill points.

So short of some unusual steps you’ve taken that I am missing, I wonder if you need to verify your game files.

Also, were these characters started in the playtest? Or after the patch went live?

I already did. Steam says nothing is wrong.

These are brand new characters which I leveled up to check patch 1.2. I didn’t participate in the open beta.

Currently leveling the 3rd one. But this time without merits. Just to see if there is any difference.

Edit: I don’t use any mods.

Thanks for the report. We found the repro and will have a fix for it in v1.2.0.3.
