1000 Items to craft

Because someone posted in the Steam forum that they now have 100% of all achievements and the most annoying thing was “craft 1000 items”, here is the simple solution how I did it (I also wrote that to him on Steam):

Getting 1,000 items is a total breeze.

After a while, you end up with plenty of the most basic materials:

  • Scavenged Armor Plate
  • Polished Emerald
  • Aether Crystals

For each craft, you need 1 of those items plus 500 Iron.

So, you need 1,000 of each material and 500,000 Iron.

If you’ve played for years—like you and I have—you’ll easily have that much.

Then you just go to the blacksmith, craft 1,000 Bristly Hides in one go, and you’re done. It takes less than 5 minutes!!!

Another common method is to go to Necropolis area, find a blacksmith there and use his 1-1 crafts between brains, hearts and blood. It’s more expensive in bits (I think it’s 2.5k per kraft, so 2.5 mil total, though I might be wrong), but nothing prohibitive. And you don’t lose any other resources for that.

Necropolis trick is classic but also just burning iron
can craft aether shards then into dynamite/stuff you will actually use, waystones, runes - if you wanna fast rep alts you can craft a bunch of tier 1 relics for the bounty
ofc if you reach end and start crafting stoneplates/plagueguard etc magick crafts you’ll easily hit it too
fast burning iron is well and good, but can get something out of it too/while at it

I just got my first level 100 DK a week or two ago, been using him as a crafting alt now for new characters stuff. He’s also the dedicated totem farmer when I want to chill, until I get someone more suitable for Shattered Realm.
The 250k kills seems like another grind of an achievement.

250k having to be done on same char means doing loads of cruci/SR/totem endgame farm, or you cheese it with some of the multi spawn enemies but accept less reward for the effort,
ex can use the maggots lair run,
or take an aura/passive dmg char and leave near a spawner (out of kill range of the spawner), and leave over night/for a couple days running i think someone said they did
edit.
tip from Safarel

i left my character for entire night close to mother Ravna to let her infinitely spawn her swarmlings (but not too close to prevent accidentally killing her), and after 9-12h i got 40-65k to my kills count

Sitting at 150k right now in terms of kills, but may just do the Necro crafting trick for items since it doesn’t display a count. I see many totems and SR in my future. I need the legendaries anyway

current craft count you can only see with GDstash i think, since its char editor displays some stat trackings we can’t see ingame

Aaah ok, interesting. I’ll keep smashing out higher tier components for leveling and endgame builds. Re-rolling crafted gear and eventually I’ll get there, I’m so far from 250k kills and the Crucible/SR achievements I don’t mind slow rolling it.

I’m using one of my old save files from my GoG version on Steam, and for whatever reason the 1K crafting didn’t automatically update on Steam. Just a few did. I got the 1K after crafting 100 items on Steam.

But I agree, reaching 1K is not THAT hard. Too bad that those that already had the 100% completion just got their 100% RIPed with the last patch that introduced the FoA achievements.

If you switched to local saves wouldn’t have been a problem since GOG and Steam would access the same save folder.

Yeah, I had cloud saving turned on; I turned it off, and they are working as intended now.
