2h FireStrike Elementalist?

Hi there,

i want to build around 2h firestrike and iam thinking of demo+shaman.

I’ve just taken my elementalist to 100 yesterday. My build it’s very close to your idea, with a few deferences:

  • I don’t use 2h, i went for 1h + shield (so my shaman tree has only totem + mogdrogen’s pact)
  • I focused on fire and chaos dmg, so no lightning tornado
  • I use both Grenado for extra dmg and flashbang for cc(highly recommended)
  • I’m still not confident about my devotion, so you wouldn’t say much about it, but we share the core of it (ulzuim torch, eldritch fire etc)

I ended up with roughly 30k dps, 80% all res (50% cc reduction), 1800 armor e 10+k health. Not as tanky as i expected, still working on it. I’m trying to complete the infernal knight set (check it).

Anyway it’s a pretty fun build, bringing fire and flames on earth :wink:

So which weapon is best for that build?

Infernal Brimstone > Sharzul Worldeater > Blazerush ?

Specialty of each weapon as follows

Brimstone> Burn
Worldeater> Fire
Blazerush> Crappy weapon in dire need of good skill mods
