Where I’m kinda falling into trouble is towards the Devotion.
Considering I’m going 2Handed Kraken make a LOT of sense.
To get that one I need some Blue Help. The cheapest way would be Eel (3 points for 5 Blue able to get Kraken).
Sad part is the point taken from there unless there is some magic I’m missing are already preventing me from getting to Mogdrogen The Wolf. I have 13 Green and only 8 Purple with 11 points remaining (Mog take 6 of them). That leave me with 5 points (Wolverine give 6 for 5 leaving me with 1 point missing and no Manticore)
What would you be doing ?
2Hand Warder with Bloodrager set being the “objective” unless someone come with a massive idea (with the restriction of being Warder Soldier Mastery Maxed and don’t want to use Ultos as another character is already set on that path)
I was actually using Drizto build as an inspiration for my Bleeding Warder. Main difference is obviously the fact that he is using Weapon/Shield.
If I decide to go 2H I feel like Kraken make a lot of sense. Would you actually modifiy his devotion set to actually get to Kraken or would you just roll it without. And if you would change it to get Kraken how would you actually change thing around.
So you don’t get Manticore and you drop most of the Berserker devotion even with The Guillotine. End result with Kraken but losing those two end up being better ? That’s surprising but if you did run some testing might very well be true.
Testing? This is my actual level 85 character. I just uploaded it to share. It is just my personal opinion that I am against the fad of everyone taking a Poison constellation for anything and everything just for some resistance reduction. Rend and Devouring Swarm already provide significant resistance reduction. There’s no need for me to go out of my way and pick up sub-optimal constellations for a bit more. And it’s not that I “gave up” Berserker, I “reached” Berserker after much effort to afford it. The expansion will give me the extra points I need to finish it.
(Pyroscar’s original solution: http://www.grimtools.com/calc/w26JPK72 )
Pyroscar and Rhylthar helped me tinker with it a bit on gearing and devotions, I’ve taken a little liberty with the skills Pyroscar had set up on it but overall I think it’s close to being good at least. Still tinkering with it.
Still looking for a way to work Mythical Guthook back in without torpedoing resists. (If I ever get an Incorruptible Cronley’s this build will shift into maximum overbleed.)
It’s easier to deal with reflect mobs as a bleeder than a phys warder due to how easy it is to overcap Bleed resist. Phys warders (especially IT-focused ones) need to invest in a devotion like Ulo that lets them get rid of a nasty IT dot in a hurry.
The purest physical weapon is Force Wave oriented. The rest all have varying degree of bleed or other element focus. Maybe Avenger’s set, but I don’t have it yet.
I suppose the design expectation is that even the highest physical damage two hander builds will have odes of bleed and/or internal trauma.
I think it’s the flat damage stacking? It was rather eye opening when I tried a sword and board character and it basically did the same damage as my 2 hander about a year ago while being dramatically tankier.
Maybe two handers need an innate multiplier to flat damage received.
