I’m an Aussie, deeply disappointed in how badly done was Diablo III (the first, last and only time I’ll mention the game), considering helping to support what sounds like a group of people striving to make a real ARPG come to life.
With the benefits available to the $85 USD package, would there be any issues with claiming any of them from Down Under?
I look forward to hearing from you all - and to seeing this game in play when it’s truly ready
Welcome OzHawkeye! I can’t imagine there being problems with Aussie purchases, in fact, we already have several guys from Down Under who purchased the game on this board.
I’ve learnt from experience, both ancient and recent, that game development doesn’t always match customer expectations, but what impressed me so much when I began reading about Grim Dawn was what the developers were trying to do.
It sounded so much like what so many players I’ve heard recently say they’d like to play - a classic ARPG where fun is the ultimate goal of any design decision.
I hope these earnest goals can be translated into a game that proudly sits in a much recently abused PC genre, and I hope also along the way that I can offer some suggestions, or just simply some encouragement and support.
and at one girl, DragonWolf would be most displeased you forgot about her, even though you are a mod, even a mod isn’t protected by the Cult of Crate if you make a mistake like that :p:D
@OzHawkeye and welcome to the GD forums, you backed the right team
Hmm. I’m not too worried about being named as one of several ‘guys’ from Down Under as its being used in a general term. This time… grins
anyway, welcome to the forum o’ fellow aussie. Please note that joining the Cult of Crate is mandatory, failure to do so will result in you immediate sacrifice to the Lords of Crate.
However don’t consider it a punishment, it is in fact, a great honor.
These Devs arent only trying but are implementing an amazing system for all of us to play. Welcome aboard and plan on enjoying the hell out of this game.
