A possible solution to armaments?

Apparently this category is the most expensive of them all. Besides, when were defence and war things cheap you ask?..

He got violent went on rampage and died…do the armaments die with him?

It might sound strange but there is no need to dispose armaments into the void with shy excuses just to keep the production lines active…weapons and armour break BUT do so in war. Fact, isn’t it? Balancing the sources of armaments and their corresponding disposal in war, would definitely solve the issue.

Some examples…

  1. Anyone leaving his guarding post should leave the armaments for the next guy to take the position. Armaments do not spoil like cabbage. Yes they can be lost as a result of carelessness but cannot do so in vast amounts.
  2. Raiders should not carry heavy expensive armaments, meaning that even if you slain them and get some (surviving) but not all of their armaments, it makes no big deal…since you could just produce the needed amount anyway quite successfully and cheap.
  3. Denying extortion and going to war should break a random yet sizeable ammount of armaments. Some of it could survive or be successfully salvaged from dead corpses. The remaining needed amount through should be produced or imported as it is now.
  4. Losing the extortion war should lead to most if not all armaments being salvaged and stolen by the enemy (including any excess armaments produced and stored in vault). Thus again pushing you to produce/import a lot of it! Yes winner takes it all deal with it!
  5. If you are a retired general and just somehow either win every single battle or put aside the ego and accept the extortion every single time (impossible to me) this means that at some point you might never ever even need to build a single equipment, but this should still not be considered a disadvantage to production. In any case you should have a cap of production and if you are quite successful in war, could establish a stable weapons export and gain the ingots you totally fckin deserve! Oh boi raytheon would be so proud of you…
