The best idea would be for crate to “IMPORT” a random character from titan quest into grim dawn with all its skills!
I assume not gonna happen?

You do realise that TQ and GD both share the same game engine? Which is why you see similarities between the two skills-wise. Nightblade’s Shadow Strike is similar to TQ Dream’s Phantom Strike.
definitely not happening, I am also not sure why this would be the best idea to begin with. There are so many flaws with it (balancing, you cannot really import 1:1 and have a decent char) despite it being a lot of work (items and affixes of TQ need to be added on top of the masteries, what is more they would also need to drop from GD enemies or chests so you can progress).
A lot of effort for something that would end up being very clunky and have very little interest… this is not a good idea
There is a mod for that which tackled that extra work, but obviously you need to start a new char / use an editor to recreate an existing one and cannot actually import a TQ char
Why you people are so ******. I said import and you like yar… its impossible to import my already existing character into grim dawn… different game… same engine blabla…
F… pricks pretends they dont understand what is meant by importing.
Its the same thing with necromancer class. Thats is exact same work would require to recreate some toon from titan quest into grim dawn game.
Im done with this… people pretend to be idiots and miss the obvious point…
maybe you need to explain what you mean by importing if my reply does not match what you meant, but then importing is not the right word…

which is pretty much exactly what I said, you need to add the masteries and items

seems you are one of those missing the point here
It would probably be a violation of their license agreement no matter what you think. Crate does not own any rights to TQ, they only have rights to use the game engine and beyond that, no other TQ assets. Besides the fact that their use of the engine has been long modified beyond the base TQ engine and all the work they would need to do to make it even possible, they would run into legal issues no doubt. This is the simple reality.
Probably do a little homework next time before you start slinging slurs around over a topic you aren’t informed on.
Not really sure if you’re talking about importing an existing TQ character into GD or not, but if you want to play the TQ classes with TQ items, etc, in GD then have a look at Ayslum101’s Grim Quest mod. He’s adapted the classes more to GD’s style, added new skills as well. I can’t wait for my Soothsayer and his pet army to tackle the GD expansion - I’m having a blast so far with this mod.
Why the fuck would you “import” a character from TQ? They aren’t even the same setting.
By that logic all games using Unreal Engine should be able “import” to each other just because they use the same engine.
