Please let us abandon Bounty missions. I do NOT want to go through with crafting and delivering a relic. Until such a time, I have left an unfavorable rating on Steam.
Really a bad reason to leave a bad rating, is it irritating, yes, but one small issue alone is not worth rating a game badly. The game appeals to high difficulty focused players, and you can just not do the bounties (Each difficulty level resets all the quest, meaning if you mess up a bounty and get something you can’t do, you can ignore the quest and in the next difficulty level you won’t have it as an active quest).
Try reading next time.
While his reaction is really not cool, he got a point. It should be adressed and is usually a basic feature in similiar games.
Grim dawn is really a great game, but its interface really needs an overhaul. It starts with crafting etc and ends with things like this. Don’t make fun of him, he is delivering valueable feedback.
How about not taking a bounty you dont want, and asking for another one?
Or you’re one of those players, who interact with npcs by just clicking the first dialog option until it ends?
He may be delivering feedback but he’s trying to hold Crate to ranson. I think he deserves what ever is coming his way.
I wish I had known how awful this bounty for the Outcast was going to be before I took it. (It requires a couple relics that require giant troll club/axes that don’t seem to be dropping from anyone anymore.)
well maybe someone is too tired to realize what he is getting into, or just is annoyed by the quest he got. There are plenty of reasons to not finish a bounty and to say otherwise is nothing but ignorant. I said I dont like the reaction of the original post, but still why the heck would you not be able to cancle such a quest.
There is no reason for it.
You can buy these on the secret merchant near the Blood Grove rift. As soon as you port to that rift, cross the bridge to the left, head southeast, hugging the river, and you should find a secret path that goes below the bridge you crossed,up to the merchant.
To be fair, his point is well founded. You can accept quests in MMORPGS and then abandon them if they got too hard, what’s the difference here?
It might be a technical design issue, but the developers have to clarify that.
Oh, I know. I’ve seen them there. Cheapest I’ve seen is ~$30k a piece. So I’m going to wait for a drop, since I’m broke. (Still working on buying writs and mandates…)
Bad form, sir. Bad form…

There are two bosses that usually drop that Club. The troll at the end of Mountain Deeps ( Ikrix, the Ravener), and the troll at the bottom of the East Marsh (Balegor, the Swamp King).
EDIT: I meant Voldrak, the Destroyer, the troll at the end of smugglers pass, not mountain deeps. Balegor also drops it (He dropped it the first 3 times I killed him, and I think he might always drop it based on that)
EDIT2: I just killed Golgoth, another troll who will spawn directly north of the Rover camp in Old Arkovia, and he dropped a troll bonesmasher too. He seems like to easiest one to get to and kill.
Lol, you got that wrong, Ikrix is the really big Rift-scuttler, you are thinking the one at the end of Smuggler’s Pass, not Mountain Deeps.
You are right, sorry. The one at the end of smugglers pass (Voldrak, the Destroyer)
