Only new to the game but from my limited experience would it be possible to hand over an Epic or Legendary item to a Blacksmith or the Inventors assistant together with iron bits and be granted that items Blueprint?
It is hard enough to get a Legendary item as is, but to get one you actually want and then for it to have poor rolls I could see being very disheartening. Being able to give up this item and get its Blueprint back so you could with enough resources keep making the item until you got a decent set of rolls, would help those players with limited playtime and not wanting to resort to 3rd party utils to get ahead.
