The 40% chance to deal +400% aether damage.
I’m guessing this does not stack dual-wielding them for 80% chance to deal 800% aether damage, because the attack replacer is still a single skill?
But what about attacks that uses 2 weapons like execute? To my knowledge, execute actually doesn’t hit twice. But COMBINES the damage of both weapons correct? So an execute will deal X combined damage with a 40% chance of all aether damage being amplified by 400%. And if I understand it correctly here the attack replacer value of 130% is a multiplier, and the 400% if it procs is simply added to your total pool of +%aether damage.
What confuses me is how this item’s 40% chance to deal +400% aether damage affects the dual wielding in the damage formula. Like if it gives EACH weapon +40% chance for +400% aether damage, and THEN combines the damage. Or if the entire attack with an execute simply rolls this on top.
How I see it, dual wielding heart of Theodin, IF I understood the weapon correctly, is not optimal. For such a blade of malkadarr or a blaze herald in the offhand would be better. For execute specifically, malkadar 60% wpn damage in offhand still affects both weapons because it affects execute not the item.
This is fucking with my mind so badly, help!
