Please add an option to limit or control your FPS.
I like to keep it at 30-60.
What video card are you using?
Are you unable to utilize Vsync?
If you are using Nvidia you can learn to utilize Nvidia Profile Inspector and limit the frames yourself.
Vsync is not always the solution. I like to cap Grim Dawn at 30 fps too, because it saves on power and heat.
We all know there are external tools for this kind of thing, but an in-game limiter would be so much nicer.
Still, I’m kinda leaning toward the theory that Crate isn’t going to hop up and toss it in there right this moment so I figured pointing him on the path would be a bit more expedient.
Honestly, Nvidia Profile Inspector is something I wish I had started using sooner. It’s a godsend for game profiles and opens up so many better options.
Since I started using the Inspector I no longer use straight up Vsync (nor do I use the default NV CP). They have a Fast Sync option that’s a million times better than normal Vsync plus I cap it at 60. Then I can export my game profiles whenever I feel like DDU’ing into a clean slate and reimport my profiles back in after.

But I do hope the devs add this option in the game tho. It’s pretty helpful.
I did not know Fast VSYNC works fine with a frame limitter. I have to try that.
Yup… I havent had any issues. Just set the fast sync toggle and then set what frames you want it at.
