Good day to all. Can someone tell me why the “beautiful” skill of Aegis of Menhir with a reload time of 1 second does not work immediately upon completion?! Both on the keyboard and on the left mouse button the same does not work!
I will add that on the right mouse button the skill works more adequately, but there are also failures and freezes - whether it works or not…

when a cooldown skill is on LMB, it will do regular attacks in between
if a/any attack is initiated “right before” the cooldown is up on your skill, the character will still complete the attack animation before returning to use the “selected”/cooldown skill
on keyboard, this shouldn’t/doesn’t happen unless you’re pressing/initiating other skills manually i think (not for me at least) since holding down a cooldown skill on keyboard hotbar does not use other attacks inbetween by default - if you however are activating other skills manually as part of a rotation/playing with multiple skills, then their animation still gets to finish before you can initiate the aegis throw even if the cooldown was ready
^same with it assigned to RMB; tho it depends on the skill, since some skills bound to RMB still can use default attacks in between iirc (Aegis isn’t one of them tho)
