All the Best in Making the Final Dungeon and Boss!

Hello!
As you may have already known, Crate is in the final phase of development and that in particular they making the end campaign dungeon and final boss.

And whether we like it or not the final areas and final boss fight of any arpg gives a lasting impression to the game as a whole.

So this thread is just basically to give our moral support Crate.

But how bout u guys, what are your thoughts? What do you imagine the final areas will be like?

Sure, I extend my support to crate to not leave the final boss…forgotten.

While you are at it, please tell them, that I´ve been waiting for the expansion for so long by now, that I have totally learned to be content with it not being released, so if they need another quarter to finish it or add more features, that is okay, I don´t mind.

Might as well not release it at all. At this point, who cares?

Dont worry they will release it. I have my trusty guts they will do it this month. But I wont mind if they will exhaust the time and release it on last day of Q1. I prefer to wait a little just to get that big bang of an ending…

I can picture that final boss will have some fire atttacks. Thematically speaking maybe a different version like eldritch fire. Also we dont have yet an enemy that does mainly fire attack in a large scale for an act boss.

I have faith that last dungeon will be as good if not better than tomb of watchers and the capitol factory.
also these are just my wishlist and imagination for the end boss:

  1. may the end boss have some ability that pulls the player to close range

  2. Also having some slow ability and locking the player is also nice and this will give us some sense of dread when fighting this montrosity.

  3. may it have a mage transformation and once you are slowed it casts an AAR like beam to target the player while aoe environment damage is also sprinkled on the floor.

  4. No ads. this is a one on one fight but our Main character realizes he needs some help… hence… we go to pt. 5

  5. chosen witch god helps us in a form of buff or shrine… or whatever, just to differentiate the play throughs

  6. no one hit mechanics from the boss

  7. No Ulgrim appearance

these are just my thoughts and in no way going to make it to the final product anyway:p

If the floor of the final dungeon isn’t made entirely of Grava’s nullification orbs I’m going to be very disappointed.

good idea! this is potentially the final dlc so they better go all out.

And I do hope Grava’s home made bridges have made its way to the the final dungeon concept.

I am do glad in what I am seeing in the spoiler achievements. Final boss confirmed plus the lore between existing factions will be closely woven into the story:p
