The area of the screen that shows positive effects on your character blocks mouse input (even space that isn’t currently occupied by an icon), so if you try to attack something (or nothing) in that area you won’t attack nor move. This behaviour does not occur for the side showing negative effects on your character.
As far as I can tell you can’t cancel your buffs by clicking on the active icons so I don’t know why you need to block mouse input in that area. it makes it a fair bit harder to target things in that direction (without rotating the camera)
It’d also be nice if mouse clicks passed through the mini-map. Currently it’s best to play with it turned off otherwise your inputs will be ignored for a large portion of the top right corner of the screen.
Buff icons block mouse? I never noticed that. This definitely should be fixed. I’m here for +1000 to mouse click pass through not only mini-map but also all the bottom UI. Please Crate it would be a huge quality of life change for those who doesnt rotate camera. Using mobility skills through bottom UI for instance, sometimes makes you waste your mobility skill.
I think Conlan meant the HP and Energy bars (and the other stuff in that area), which can be especially problematic if you prefer having the UI scaled up.
In D3 I was using an AHK script that was checking if a click is in those positions and if that’s was the case, it pressed the button for Hide UI, then made an actual Click, and then Show UI (so that I could Leap / Charge even when clicking Health Globe). It actually worked very well and UI Hiding / Showing was barely noticeable. But for Grim Dawn I don’t think it worked well when I tried it some time ago (you can hide UI in either modded game or with GI).
