Alpha where art thou?

Yeah thanks for the update  I excited more

I love you guys, what more can be said? =)

You’ve just confirmed that supporting you has always been worth every penny of mine and all of us!

FREAKING

swaying lights and hanging corpses that react to the wind.
OH MY GOD, YES! :cool::cool::cool:

PS: Oh, and say cheers to the new animator!

he needs to introduce himself when he comes here, if you can make him

but yeah, say hi from me as well to this new Crate lord,

and yeah, its going to be awesome if we can see those kinds of effects in the game, so yeah, awesome, utter, utter awesome, and yes, I’m really happy too that I bought / pledged a lot to this game, nice going and keep up the great work you are all doing

and all hail the new Crate Lord

Yeah don’t rush anything. First impressions mean everything.

Damn this job must be stressfull sometimes. But good to hear that youre making progress. I’ll be happy to play your alpha when it’s ready.

I wish you great success with Grim Dawn and that your Studio will be able to grow, so that you’ll be able to work without all these uncertainties.

The Dude Abides.

Made me happy

Thanks for the update. Unforeseen snafus and slow downs are unfortunately a reality of video game production, or virtually any kind of production for that matter. I’d rather you take the time necessary to make the game right than rush something out the door, so if this winds up pushing the alpha, and consequently the release, further down the line, I’m fine with that. More importantly, I’m excited that it seems the game keeps growing in scope and quality.

Keep up da great work!

PLEASE DO NOT RUSH WITH RELEASE!

BRING MOAR:
CONTENT weapons, CONTENT monsters , CONTENT environment and of course ANIMATIONZ!

I keep an eye on a nice crossbow fight in our survivor camp!

Glad you were able to get someone to work on your animations full time, and that you’re making significant progress again.

Thank you very much for posting the newsy update. I know things like that are not always easy to report, but it’s very important to the community to have the full story as it unfolds.

Thanks for the update. I’m happier waiting than I’d be with a poor release.

I won’t be original and say “thanks for the update” like all others  I am glad GD keeps it’s well-planned manner. I like this approach as it promises up really well-developed game in the end. Take your time Crate - we’re yet anxious to see the alpha but we can wait without issues.

No need to feel any pressure on my behalf.

I enjoy the wait in a nice forum community. It will be a sad day, once people do more playing and less posting, and the forum get’s swamped in “whats the best class?” and “what’s the most powerful weapon?” and “Please nerf whatever that guy who beat me in PvP is playing” - threads. No need to rush there

This has me really excited. In the end, I would like a dark, engrossing game world, and it makes me very happy that the little things are being done to ensure the game world really comes alive.

I really wouldn’t care if the alpha ship time frame was missed, I just want a good game. Take all the time you need Crate.

Well done gents (and possible ladies, who knows).

So will the Alpha be a whole (mini) act? Sounds awesome.

Thank you very much! Glad you got some help!

This. ^^

I pre-ordered back in February 2010, so a few more months isn’t going to kill me.

Honesty between the game creators and the fans really impresses me.

Anyways take your time on getting the alpha ready and hopefully their won’t be any unexpected surprises down the road that would be detrimental to the game.

March 17, 2013. Make it happen.

I heard that Queen Victoria had an affair with Saint Patrick, many many years ago.
