So, I got tired of having to facetank everything with a melee, and decided to go for a mobile killer. Having taken a look at what a well-geared sorcerer could do here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjMqeNSQRoY I decided I’d give a sorcerer a go. Did the typical couple levels in normal then crucible to 18 + 10 devotion points, and went back to start killing. I decided I wanted to use Olexra’s flash freeze for clearing packs, Trozans for boss killing, and fire strike for filler. Levels 18-26 was… fairly slow. While Olexra’s very quickly took packs out, lots of running waiting for cooldowns, and cold-resistant mobs were a pain. Then I hit 26.
I had a Marauder’s belt and fury I’d found in previous play, and the RNG blessed me with http://www.grimtools.com/db/items/8682 - Went dual pistols, and holy cow. Not long later, I’ve already arrived in homestead @ lvl 30, and I’m blazing through the content. Everything dies, and it dies FAST.
I love the crowd control and pack-killing of Olexra, Trozan is amazing at killing bosses fast, and Fire strike is doing very solid DPS at this point.
Having tried a commando before, this is a world better. Squishy to be sure, but damn it’s fun!
