Another beginner's question

Hi!

New GD-player here, got fast response last time I had a beginner’s questions so here I go again:

Shaman’s Savagery seems really strong, but it makes me wonder how “on-hit” works in GD. Let’s say I am a Nightblade (my favourite class so far), and I got Belgothian Sheers passive from NB and using Savagery as my default weapon attack. I got no stacks on Savagery and engages a group of enemies and Belgothian Sheers procs and hits multiple targets, what happens? Do I get several Savagery stacks since I hit multiple targets and does Savagery deal damage through subsequent Belgothian Sheers procs? Also, does Savagery do AoE damage if it procs Belgothian Sheers (or any other AoE attack)?

Thanks on forehand,
Tom / Wizard out of Mana

Savagery and skills like it are per attack, not per hit. So you only gain one stack per attack, no matter what wps procs or how many targets you hit. Savagery will do aoe damage if you get a proc that does aoe damage, otherwise it is single target.
