Any 2H Primal Strike Ranged Viable?

As a title, a year ago Conjurer Primal Strike was pretty good but i would not know now…

I have found on the forum and on youtube some builds based on the Primal Strike Ranged and meanwhile i will do some tests, are any of you familiar around this build that is decent even now?

I do not ask to kill the Nemesis right away in a 10 seconds (also because Valdaran seems to me rather difficult with this build) but still able to do it and to resist enough.

I have tried a demo/sham fire strike/primal strike 2H a while ago, and while the build makes a lot of sense on plenty of matters such as DPS, offense, HP, HP regen, multidamage, auras for possible allies, devotions paths etc, it just lacks that something that makes it as much viable as other builds.

I would say that that kind of build is probably more of a multiplayer one, as ranged support to tanks and phys/fire damage builds. It is much more viable and fun with someone on the front line to do the aggro for you.

I believe druid would be a bit better for ranged lightning, you can aim for ultos set + rakajax, with high cap primal strike and fast enough attack speed, you are like a tesla coil

I tried the Conjurer + Full Set Ultos + Raka’Jax build and found it quite nice and resistant, i found as the first Nemesis Valdaran and i managed to kill it with the right tactic.

I will also test the Arcanist and Demo as second mastery.

The problem is that you miss all the offensive potential of the demo mastery+aura. The only thing within the arcanist tree that will be able to compensate the lack of cunning is inner focus. If you go for 2H you have to crit a lot I think if you want your build to be viable. But you get on another hand 2 ranged freeze options, so that’s a choice…

I’ve done several tests with the Occultist, Demo and Arcanist Mastery.

What to say… these 3 mastery have both their pros and cons, personally i’m fine with the Arcanist, but the other 2 are a good alternative for those who want to experience/try the Primal Strike Ranged.

Obviously this kind of Build is not as powerful as any others but it’s pretty viable and fun if you like the gameplay style

I did one with Elementalist and it’s fine. I can drop Valdaran in around 50 seconds which is not bad because of Primal Strike rather poor single target damage and Valdaran high lightning resist.
