Any ETA on patch/hotfix- these MI rolls are absolutely killing the fun

they really just need to fix this, they cannot possibly be waiting for the next content patch to do so.

this is blatant game breaking bug, that crate is already aware of and yet refuse to release a hotfix.

they decided to make multiple MI’s BIS in almost every build but make them undroppable…

really disappointed with AOM. its reasonable for bugs to exist in a new release, but this lax attitude on addressing gaming breaking bugs is really aggravating, i feel like they’ve just taken our money and went on vacation for 2 month or something

Wow really? because you can’t farm your little greenies due to a bug, the whole expantion is a disappointment? Get real.

On the other hand, wasting days on end farming only to get trash affixs everytime and later realizing that it was bugged all along is much more gamebreaking to people like me than having to relevel a character or recollect an item for the illusionist.

I spent around 7 hours total farming that (insert Einstein insanity quote) and gave up after that since I saw it wasn’t going anywhere.
Right now I’m farming for Deathmarked set as a compromise, not having much luck with that either though.

Some of the new MIs seem to be ‘stuck’ on certain prefixes. I guess very limited pool? It really isn’t anything to get worked up over. I’ve gotten these MIs they talk about with 200%+ damage in each hand even without the missing prefixes - still quite good. In fact better than any legendary for my build in the case of the offhand and the main hand comes close to any competition.

It’s not just the prefixes, suffixes as well, which are even more important since they tend to be stronger than prefixes.
And yeah, the MIs are really good—once they’re fixed they are going to make a lot of people with melee elemental builds happy.

As others have posted there are other game breaking bugs in the game as well. And they’re a small team so they have to deal with all of them.
Not lax attitude, considering the amount of bugs it’s natural they decided to drop the idea of multiple hotfixes (which is tedious and unwise) and clubbed it into one patch. Thus causing the delay, you can’t expect them to cater to the needs of specific players (dedicated or not, we all paid the same price for the expac) and also many of those quest bugs would bum out even the “hardcore players”. One bug in particular would surely do so, thankfully they’ll fix it next patch

And I think all MIs are bugged atm. Anyways, let us all cool our jets. You’re one of the older players you should know they won’t pull a Blizzard on us

i say different players have different definitions of gamebreaking.

for the more casual player, perhaps not being able to progress on a main quest that prevents progression is gamebreaking. I agree with this.

however, for more dedicated players, its not a big deal for us to simply level another character if the first one is bugged, it would take us say 15 hours max to relevel to 85 or whatever.

different types of players focuses on different things in the game, as such different issues are gamebreaking for different people.

crucible farmers or simply people who trade have mostly collected their necessary purples and are progressing into end game, and that is, either making new builds, endgame farming, or min/maxing. both of the later are critically affected by bugged MI drops. (while i cannot say with 100% certainty, i do believe that ALL MI drops in A5 are bugged and not just ugdenbog daggers. when 90% of aleksander/kupa pants are rolling tough of thorns/mending, while regular greens roll well all the time. i must believe something is wrong with them too)

i realize my post is quite poignant and may not be received well, but in the very least i wanted bring the issue to light for other players as many don’t even know the existence of such bugs until they’ve waste many, many hours farming without fruition.

So let me get this straight, first you are berating the team as “lazy” in your first post because they are not immediately catering to your specific wishes asap and then you are trying to sell us that a single slot being bugged for affixes/suffixes mean that the game is "broken and because YOU are a “dedicated” player means that you should take priority. I am speechless.
I will make this clear so you will understand: A game breaking bug is a bug whereas you cannot progress in the game at all not a buggy single slot item for which there are countless alternatives which work just fine.
What is more I am almost certain that you probably not even have a character who has BIS on every slot except for that one slot you are complaining about.
Also “dedicated” does not entitle you to get special treatment. Some of us have lives outside of this game but we payed the same price as you did therefore even bringing this nonsense of “dedicated” players up is questionable at best.
Guess me buying the Crucible DLC despite not even remotely wanting to play it and never having set a foot into it merely to support Crate makes me less of a “dedicated” player than you because I play “only” 1-3 hours a day instead of 12?
This also means that for players like us having to re-level a character amounts to at least a week if not two or three so yeah I dare say this is far more important to fix than some MIs for which you have dozens of alternatives.

If crate wants to tell jajaja that he’s horribly out of line with what he’s saying they can do that. That’s what moderation is for. The only thing I see here in the context of all that has been explained in the thread is baiting for an argument. Let’s drop all this and just wait patiently for the patch.
