I do agree that both playstyles need some improvement. If anything, I think the Fire side should receive more buffs. Berserker supports Chaos, but not Fire, so the Fire build doesn’t have the same support from the class.
The concept of a Fire build is interesting, but at the moment its performance is mostly a meme. Of course, if the Fire side receives enough improvements elsewhere, then the Cold → Fire conversion wouldn’t necessarily be needed.
I tried a bit more zealot with blazeseer. Came back here to suggest the same cold → fire conv. Hadn’t thought of it closing the opportunity to have a similar conversion to buff the Dreadnaught part.
I guess if not on the cleaver, it could be restricted to Divine Mandate (and Cold to Chaos on Vindictive Flame would mirror the bonus for Dreadnaught).
Other non-balance request: Please add the firewolf skin for Guardians from the Gryphon Eye to the Apoclypton set as well. It fit perfectly thematically, and would make the use of blazeseer not loose on the drip factor.
Also agreed on the need for some more AS somewhere.
I also found DA to be hard to come by without having to make yet another huge cut on the build’s damage output. (I can see the same issue on maimu’s iteration).
To be fair Cannister bomb animation feels too slow , it looks like you throw a towel not something made from a pipe with metal seals , one of the main reasons I skip this skill for already 10 years
I think it is the worst skill in Demo. Needs a buff. And faster throw. Quicker explosion… It should delete enemies fast and it just does not…
If animation gets faster I think will be significantly better
The damage on it is also not good.

I am an Apoclypton enjoyer (unmatch against Top Builders), and I use Left Eye instead of Tainted Cleaver (for Chaos Bomb-Dreams), but I share similar visions on this set’s shortcomings.
Set has ABSOLUTELY NO POINTS for Canister Bomb - is particularly serious. It can’t be.
At the very least, they could swap a few points from Ulzuin’s Chosen to Canister Bomb (more good way: keep Ulzuin’s Chosen points and simply adds Canister Bomb point).
It might also be nice to have a bit more AS+X% (between 10%-20%) - perhaps 3-set bonus or modifier for Werewolf in 4-set bonus.

Aside: Chaos Canister Bomb-Conduit is in deep sadness. Perhaps Apoclypton’s Stone really should have been a Ring… or Belt? (which is important to me: Medal slot has Mark of Ulzuin on it)
I couldn’t agree more. And the same problem to vitality Canister with Groble Void Effigy. They are the only items supporting chaos/vitality Canister. You cannot even get ranks from Ascended Affix.

Reviving this thread hoping Crate does something about this set and lack of Canister ranks anywhere.
