my oh my. I get it, it’s a beginner set yada yada but: does it stop the set from having extra defence?
3 set pieces have only 1 (one) resist except phys. no cc-resists whatsoever. while, say, non-set aether or phys boots have 4 lines of resists. sth to think about.
I think giving the mask/gloves/boots at least one extra resist/cc-resist will go a very long way.
The Grey Knight kinda does that if I want to focus on trauma forcewave, octavius used to be in top charts too, but something tells me it would look cool and feel cool to have spammy shield version not only two-handers.
A more detailed feedback thread will come after further testing, but the Bysmiel’s Set is sorely lacking in multiple ways. For starters, it is highly concentrated in the Occulist and Summon Raven specifically, but it’s the only class that doesn’t get a +1 to Mastery skills. The flat damage to pets bonus appears inconsequential since as Elemental damage, it’s further divided by 3, so you’re equipping 3 pieces of a set to get something like 8 flat damage and 24 DoT damage.
Grimtools links and video testing will be shown later.
Haven’t tested it recently in the PTR but agree with this statement on live. One of the reasons I always wanted the proc on the set to be more akin to Pyran as opposed to a proc that doesn’t seem impactful to how Targo is designed (IMO). On the PTR the reduced CD on the proc, on paper, seems to not do much.
I feel I would try and use the set if the weapon wasn’t required. 4p while leaving the weapon as is but not a apart of the set or 5p while changing the 5th piece to a different slot, such as gloves.
Talking of which. Whenever I try to put something together with this I come out lacking in survive-ability. Might be I’m doing something wrong, but it appears a little flimsy to me.
Feel like they should add a skill damage modifier on the 4 piece set Briarthorn or any of blight fiend if the intent is focusing only necro or shaman pets based on that amulet
