Hello, new to the forums. I just leveled a death knight to 100, farmed a set and have been messing around with different builds. I’m currently doing alright a little over half way through ultimate with no problems. I get crushed pretty quick on ultimate crucible though, i think I got to around 50 with a friend before it was too much.
Anyway, I’ve followed a lot of advise from these forums and its gotten me far. So if there is anything that stands out like a sore thumb for a crappy build, please point it out lol.
Yeah those look like really good skills for me, I will be trying them out. I’m going back through and grabbing any of the shrines I missed. I definitely need help with logical devotion choices.
You’re two yellow dots shy of Menhir, Tree of Life, or Empyrion if you want considerably more defense. Similarly, 3-4 red dots will get you your pick of Dying God or Spear, all of which are solid offensive options if you lean toward aether. Phoenix is meh, since you’re not doing too much with fire.
I ended up dropping the phoenix, after seeing the substantial increase for aether dmg. I grabbed arcane bomb, but not assassins mark.
Really I just need as much damage as possible at this point. After I farm up some components for resistances I think it will be pretty solid.
Will see how all this works, do you guys have any gear recommendations? I ended up totally reworking my spec after getting that kreig set. Open to any ideas.

edit just noticed you didnt have bomb… you definitely need that! https://www.grimtools.com/calc/nZoDaMBN - with all devotion points. bomb + time dilation for last 11 point. allow lower down time for mark or torment and kriegs wrath
Honestly the biggest thing to shoot for is farming reputation for augments. Devils crossing is huge for the ring/amulet augment Survivors Ingenuity. Resist augments will help a ton too
I havent tested it myself, but from what ive read is that their attack animation is super slow with 2hand weapons… and thus reduces overall dps. The flat damage from soul harvest and deadly momentum will be way stronger.
