Looking very cool! The red does seem a little bright and the line a tad too thick at the moment, but as said its still going to be tweaked etc. I actually really like the idea and will probably use this system.
I thought that might be the case as well, not a biggy but figured it’d add a lot to a sure-to-kick-lots-of-ass already Crate game.

Nice work! I gathered from the different screen shots that we can expect a mix of areas already! This one looks like a church or something, Other shots were outside in open areas and a few smaller areas.

i have no problem if the red line is a target i just wanted to no what it was, it would have been face palm if it meant fire damage
Regarding the red outline:
I played Diablo 3 (sorry to bring that game up), and they were using red outlines for targets. I must say, I REALLY didn’t like it. I found it extremely distracting, and it killed immersion. By the end of my play session, I had no idea what the monsters actually looked like… All I saw while I played and in my head later were the shape of their outlines. So very distracting, and so… HUD-like (arcade-y) in a game that’s otherwise supposed to be gritty and realistic.
As long as I can turn it off, I suppose!
Thats actually how I invisioned it would play like to me personally. You would get so used to the outlines of the monsters and it would detract from the fine details.
In saying that, I haven’t played with this kind of visual so I’m just speculating. If we can turn it off, it’s all good. Maybe Medierra can implement it in a non-obtrusive way.
I have to say I agree with what the general feeling about the red outline, and while it is a major curiosity for me at the moment - I hope it will be subject to player control, like turning it down \ off.
The screen looks really awesome. I’m not gonna complain about the floors being too well kept or something, I have faith in you guys in that department! haha
The mutated club-arm-thing looks really great! I just hope there’ll be some “severed limb” items you can equip from killing these guys, that would be amazing and shocking all at the same time. ;D

Everything looks great except the red target outline. That “outline” thing was the only reason I stopped playing Dungeon Siege 2 and in my opinion it really kills the design. I mean I don’t want to see red shapes instead of beautifully designed monsters.
So please, at least make an option to turn it off.
