now do it with gear and check your actual/final stats
*that is to say, making a blank/theoretical devo map is easy, making one that fits the build/needs, oa, speed, leech/regen etc becomes the tricky part, and is already why Seru is so frowned on in the thread, (rr doesnt’ change that, just gives it more dmg)
Another way to make it more interesting would be to significantly reduce the CD
Right now it is 1s, if it was something like 0.4 secondes that could be another way to make the proc more interesting. At least melee tri-ele builds would be able to proc all of them withing more or less 2 secondes.
I would reduce the maximum number of them to say 3 and give them more damage to compensate. As mentioned by others, it’s difficult to get 4 or 5 of them out at once. Storm totem used to have the same issue but that was fixed by making it possible to spawn several at once and I feel a similar-ish solution will work here too.
attack vs debuff
-x% RR has to be attached to debuff class skills, thermite mine/devils/seals etc is just blob emitting a debuff aura/wearing aura of censure - this is also why their dmg doesn’t stack
arcane currents is more like mortar trap, blob shooting actual skills/attacks, ground fx sorta just for show/doesn’t do anything itself not actually acting like Seal
dmg scaling easy, sure
but if you want them to work like mines etc you get the same drawback, you now have to have the monster stand on them, their shots can’t carry the debuff because of the shot being an attack class skill/the shot doesn’t carry the debuff as aura of censure,
so not being dmg stacking would be the least of the issue
*seekers might be different/might just be mobile pets/walking Runes, unsure, but arcane currents is just a disguised turret
Buffs to Seru and Sage are very underwhelming so far in 1.2.1.6. Lowering cooldown is just useless… We need the exact opposite. Higher cooldown and higher damage with more of them appearing each proc.
With elemental melee it is hard to proc Seru or Sage often. Higher CD and more damage on the skill would be better. Elemental Cadence Battlemage has a hard time proccing fast anything. Only on Cadence skill… And if you have both Seru and Sage then tough luck… Maybe some Obliteration caster could manage it with this low CD but not melee builds.
If reworked then something like this could work.
This would be good option with current CD and damage. Something like 40-50 % would work… Korvaak’s helm already gives 25 % so it needs to give more…
Obviously it needs moar…
Needs to be like 12 and 14… Purple and green should be closer to Sage so that both have similar requirements. The only other devo with total 30 affinity requirement is Vire. Maybe 30 affinity requirement should not exist at all…
Will it not make cold, fire or lightning builds too OP? If it would be like -15 % it could perhaps work…
It wont because its damage is split and because you cannot take it on those builds without huge sacrifices. Biggest issue is these T3 tri ele devos do not help you sustain.
Unfortunatelly for elemental constellation there is nothing can beat Ultos. Even with zero fire damage bonus, the cheap req and very good proc is way more appealing than other two elemental constellations.
Agree about this, either Arcane Currents proc should have some unique and rare stats (already discussed by me and other players) or devotion nodes should be buffed MEANINGFULLY, I think even with plus 20 crit damage and 5% OA more on Attak Seru elemental builds will not be in top 20 or close, now it is like this: (Player Feedback - Assuming devotion requirements don’t change, devotion nodes and devotion proc are not competitive compared to other choices, not in a vacuum, please buff sth so that devotion would be an alternative as in I want exactly this devotion in my elemental build, as in my fire build needs more damage - lets take Ulzuin’s Torch route, my fire build needs more defence - lets take Light of Empyrion route. Current developer response - Impressive. Very nice. Lets change this devotion’s proc cooldown and damage, and buff cooldown Forcewave for good measure). No offense, just want this game to be even better (and its not like trielemental builds are anywhere close to being OP).
