B13 Hotfix for Stash + other changes

The latest update should fix stash troubles people were having with new characters and includes various other fixes and changes.

v0.1.9.9 (b13 hotfix)

Tech:

  • Fixed a bug where the player transfer stash would be corrupted when created.
  • Fixed a bug where the log could be spammed by a PFX warning message.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to permanently mind control monsters under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed a bug where mind controlled monsters awarded incorrect faction points when killed.
  • Fixed a bug where the highlight applied to the transfer stash when attempting to add quest items was incorrect.
  • Fixed a bug where monster states would not be correctly saved when a monster was in the process of dying.
  • Fixed a bug where the player inventory could be corrupted when affected by script actions.
  • Fixed a bug where incomplete components would not be correctly removed from inventory when used.

Game:

  • Retaliation damage is no longer applied when attacks miss.
  • Monsters under the effects of mind control are now attackable.
  • Fixed missing hit box on trapdoors making them hard to select.
  • Fixed Hellhound detonation skill, which sometimes wasn’t hitting enemies
  • Rebalanced Azure Matriarch.
  • Adjusted Viper Lord squall skill to hit later so there is more opportunity to dodge. Removed the slow.
  • Reduced chances of double hero spawns at lower levels.
  • Adjusted Milton Hart to be a little faster but less hard hitting.
  • Reduced damage absoprtion of Warden’s low-health rally skill.
  • Reduced devouring swarm damage at lower levels.
  • Slightly increased drop rates on several types of enemies, primarily for champions.
  • Slightly increased breakable drop rates.
  • Small boost to rare drop rates on chests
  • Reduced jewelry drop rates in favor of more armor drops
  • Lowered base offensive ability on heroes.
  • Increased attribute bonus for pierce and magical damages.
  • Reduced travel speed of raptor sonic screech so that it can be dodged.
  • Increased damage but reduced attack intervals of mosquito and bone rat projectile attacks.
  • Occultist: Increased Dreeg’s Evil Eye poison damage.
  • Occultist: Increased poison and acid bonus from Terrifying Gaze.
  • Occultist: Reduced energy cost of various skills.
  • Occultist: Updated hellhound and raven bios with OA / DA values appropriate for the combat system changes.
  • Reduced normal mode reflection aura on heroes from 100% to 33%
  • Removed reflection aura from Gethrand and replaced it with ring of flame.
  • Added 1-time special chest to Warden’s room for new characters. Unfortunately, won’t appear for those that have already killed the Warden once.

Yay for Special Chests! I defiantly feel like there are not nearly as many chests so far in this game as there are in TQ. Then again I haven’t made it passed Burwitch.

awesome. Don’t know if anything was done to help the crashing but I have found that using the portal a number of times will cause the game to crash eventually on a teleport. Usually an hour to hour and half of playing and using portal to sell and go back, then game will crash after x times the portal was used is what is happening to me. Hope this info helps. :slight_smile:

Are we sure this chest is a one time only thing for new chars? I just got a chest from the Warden, and it was a pretty good drop (a green and a blue.) using an existing character.

Wow! Thank you! 1-time chest thing was the thing that I’ve been wanting to have!

Try it with the same character a second time and it shouldn’t be there. The game registers that is the first time you killed the warden since the change was implemented.

Edit: Now fixed.

Hmm… I hope that does not include %reflection damage? It could kill the whole build if so… And what about spells on struck? Are they still fire on missed attacks or only on those which hit?

Alas, i must report that i’m still seeing the bug where items are disappearing from the transfer window (shared stash). Fortunately, this time i had a backup, so i didn’t lose anything permanently, but the bug is still there.

It looks like old characters still get a shot at the 1-time Warden chest. In fact, I kept getting it every single time on my old character until I had actually exited game. I got another very small update after that, so not if it was already addressed or if it was for the Hellhound detonation since I see that line is no longer crossed out now. Gethrand not having reflect is much appreciated for those of us doing Warden runs.

Warden Changes.
As i mentioned elsewhere, i still think you need to buff the Wardens damage absorption on his low life rally skill. It really doesn’t do much for him once it goes off. Somewhere in between what it was in 9.7 and what you have adjusted it too now.

Otherwise i would say the whole final run to the warden has had a slight buff, which is an improvement… either that or my playing is getting worse :wink:

Very sad to see Gerttys’ damage reflect aura go… that at least gave some surprising results occasionally, very amusing :smiley: Now he’s just as predictable as the enemy damage rate is :undecided:

The one time chest is a good idea, as a way of rewarding a players first struggle to defeat the Warden. If the drops are predictable it will be monopolized, and there will no double be an optimal build to run it, maybe blademaster based? but at least people will have to work for it :slight_smile:

I’m still experiencing this issue from time to time, not sure if it’s just me or other people are as well. The only fix it seems is to use the Auto-Sort function to restore the slots that are unusable. :undecided:

There is still one more unfixed case involving combining components into or out from the stash. Maybe others as well, we are trying to track them all down.
