B25: Factions and Nemeses

Actually come to think of it, the transmuter is now way too powerful in some respects. It kind of overshadows Olexra’s Flash Freeze in terms of Crowd Control (unless you’re of the type that likes to freeze the entirety of your screen). The CC is more spammable and has a far more significant impact.

I think, ultimately, this change helps the beginning of the game more than the end, which is kind of a good thing. I (this is just my opinion) only really used the transmuter pre-Cronley, at which point Callidor’s Tempest without the transmuter was a better option. Sure, it hits a little lesser, but most things at the beginning of the game will explode into giblits regardless. Anything that does survive (Deepmire Vanguards, the odd-Groble hero) will get off your back for a bit.

The 50% Total Damage difference is pretty meaningless in the endgame. Any cooldown at all overshadows the difference, since by then the name of the game is casting speed…which is why Callidor’s Tempest is probably better for damage. I don’t disagree with you that the only reason to take Wrath of Agrivix is for the knockdown…but I do disagree with you that that’s a bad thing.

Edit:

So this is why I’ve been getting rekt on my Saboteur…

Can someone tell me how i can use the bounty table? if i will use it ( click on it) nothing happens.

you’ve got to be at least respected to gain access to the bounty table, if you go to the faction windows you’ll see checkpoints on your reputation in each faction, if you mouse over it you’ll see what you gain with each checkpoints.

For my build it is useless now, but oh well. I guess if they need more then 1 skill that does pretty much the exact same thing then so be it. Will just spec out of Callidor’s Tempest & wrath of agrivix and use Blade Arc with clean sweep for AOE damage.
Wrath of Agrivix will just become another skill I will never use.:frowning:

Go closer to the table for the dialog to start. Somehow your char does not walk into range automatically.

I for one am loving the new Wrath of Agrivix! I laugh every time.

But my favorite change is a significant quality of life fix. If I see a twinkling in the corner of the screen, I know it’s really new treasure now and not just something I’ve already looted. Yay!

Dam nice update, thnx for the hard work

Is it just me or have the droprates for rare affixes and MI’s been ramped up quite a bit? This seems to be especially noticable on Bonecrushers and spectral longswords.

I’ll pretty sure I saw objects I had already clicked on still twinkling… This was supposed to be fixed?

Stun Jacks still is not fixed. Almost year passed since this skill was broken.

Holy hell !!! Voldrak hits like a truck now. Normally he isn’t a problem for my soldier i didn’t need to use any potions to kill him. But now i even get critted which in return activate the Relic Juggernaut and i need to use potions Before B25 i never saw it proc.
I however don’t have any problem with the game being harder.

Doesn’t the "Shield Recovery Time " seems a bit to much compared to “Block Chance” ?
Because there already some items that can give “Shield Recovery Time” like:
Squire’s Handguards, Guardsman’s set, Serrated Shell, Mark of the Myrmidon, Shieldmaiden’s Guard, Survivor’s Resilience I etc.

Compared to Block Chance: Reinforced Shell, Battered Shell, Survivor’s Resilience I, and off-course the block change from the shield itself. However it’s just a feeling i’m not into the technical numbers.

not sure about your characters, but most of mine lost on average around 200 Defensive Ability & 200 Health. Also all my characters DPS dropped by around 300 to 400DPS. Which could be why you feel weaker against some of the big hitting enemies. I haven’t actually played any content in B25, just logged on to see how my stats looked.

What was changed with OA/DA ?

Various affixes no longer give a %OA/%DA increase.

[/li]
Edit: Oh, and DA was buffed in a nondescript way. Something about the formula for PCTH (percent-chance-to-hit) changing, not sure what or how. The Game Guide hasn’t been updated to reflect the change.

[/li]
Nope.

This thing isn’t as strong as you’d think it is, sadly.

just a question, so we can get nemesis on every factions or just one?
especially those that gives you access to those faction only eqs?
thanks

Only enemy factions (those whose reputation bars are red) can spawn Nemeses. If you reach Nemesis-tier with all of them, all of their Nemeses can spawn.

did the cooldown for the hellhound get lowered

it certainly feels that way

Yes, it did. See this thread for more info on cool downs: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21520
