I was wandering which one of my 10 character will go deeper in The shattered realm and I though…
“too bad I can’t select 4 of them, chose their skill rotation and play with them as if it was a multiplayer but with 4 of my own heroes!”
This will be a sort of what you do in game like baldur’s gate, dragon age, etc I guess… but I never saw it in an actual ARPG game. Of course we will control just one and be able to swap among them accordingly to different situations
In order to unlock this mode, in my mind you should have 4 character lvl 100. This play mode/style will perfectly be in line with the end game of GD, that differently from other grinding based game, is based in testing new mastery combinations!
What do you think guys/devs? Could it be something relatively easy to implement? I believe will give a unique boost to the already extraordinary gaming experience!
I will bring my Aegis Purifier and warborn shill commando as tanks and leviathan Blademaster + Hellborne Granado purifier for DPS! Btw… I think that to give a chance at the mob they can also be immune to eithe elemental or physical, Diablo 2 style
Dungeon Siege comes to mind, it’s an ARPG with a party system. You control 1 of 8 characters while the others follow. You can switch the leader anytime, even set up formations.
Something like this in a Grim Dawn game would be awesome. I don’t see it happening in the current game but maybe a mod could do it. Could be hard to implement the player character switching though.
I will have a look at Dungeon Siege then! Didn’t know it was like that…
Even if the switch among character will be not possible to implement in n GD, still will be awesome if we can chose 1main and 3 “followers/fire team” among our character! Actually I think the most difficult part could be the panel where you chose the skill rotations of those
