Hmm, this sheds new light on medierra as a pro-bear person. No wonder he decided to use RED font for the members of the Crate team.
Anyway, if the General Secretary, comrade medierra chooses the bear, I, in all my insignificance, cannot choose differently. Bear it is! 
How does carrying off children, having chainsaws for arms, dragging goats off cliffs, breaking into cars, shooting lasers out of eyes (wtf?), and catching fish have to do with ‘cunning, spirit, and strength’?

Did anyone realize we’re talking about the affix for some item in the game? The one that gives all three attributes: “… of the Bear” vs “… of the Eagle”. I think I’ll give my vote to bear just because eagle is winning.
