Beast Nemesis Comes To Early + Feedback

I played game pretty heavily around B30-31 and came back for the expansion, I decided to start again, fresh start to catch up to new mechanics as a Cabalist. Just like to talk about the game from a fresh perspective from old player.

  1. Am now L82 just reached Malmouth in Elite, but before I reached there I had a big problem with a certain Nemesis Mob, the problem is simply if you play this game normally, like do the side quests in each difficulty and try to complete all the areas you EASILY reach nemesis status with Beasts early on in ELITE! I had an unfortunately run in with this guy in just self found fresh garbage gear char and almost died, it took many minutes of running around nearly getting gibbed many times to take him down and he ended up dying too far away from chest so it was locked still. I was lucky I was a pet build char!

My problem is I thought nemesis bosses are supposed to be for farming gear/recipe to enter ultimate, when you’ve finished elite content and start farming elite to get nemesis with factions. I’m just trying to play the story here! I shouldn’t have to deal with a nemesis ambush so early! Hardcore is insane already when you have no gear… What can be done about this? I’m not that close with other factions… If i see him again i think i just gonna quit game.

  1. Secondly I feel gear is really underwhelming, I’m talking all the way up to purples. I’ve found 15 purples so far and I’m still wearing a L26 yellow ring and a L30 blue ring. I look at many and can’t see how I would use the item in build designed for that item! I also feel like affix/suffix of yellow especially green could be condensed and made with more +health or survival stats at least while leveling stage, I can’t find item that has +health or % with other defensive stats and +pet bonuses! And it makes most my items be very low level or bad!

Just wondering if maybe Crate could take a look at completely useless affix/suffix and remove or merge with other affix/suffix?

Another thing is you spend so much time in game porting back to town to sell items, as loot explosion of item much more than B31! getting all 5 bags could probably happen a little sooner in the story.

  1. Game is now incredibly LOOOOOOOONG! :stuck_out_tongue: I’m now 60 hours into this character, Only Act 6 Elite!!! I’m wondering If perhaps 3 difficulties is to much of the same quest? Maybe just have 2 and do some rebalancing? Like you’d play through the game on normal, quest rewards would give x2 more rep than they do now, you would level faster ( L70-80 by end) then you would unlock a harder veteran mode that simply works like elite now, but as a toggle with current elite drops but wouldn’t reset the story etc… Obviously mobs would level in normal all the way up to 80+ everywhere. Would also work better in the future with more content I guess. But its looking like a hundred self found hours just to finish elite difficulty and start farming… Obviously it will get easier when I can give warrants etc… to new characters but very long game now per character I’m not sure that’s such a good thing. I’m still ages away from gear capable of nemesis farming even in elite!

P.S Can anyone make a viable hardcore meteor spam build using TSS/Devastation as elemental? Could TSS base skill use a buff? Or some better synergy with devastation?
