I did it with mine some time ago, tho with a defensive setup, vastly over caped lightning resistance and slightly changed devotions.

I don’t think it can be done any other way for non-DoT builds
My Poison build is the only build who put him down, and since DoT’s nature gives me liberty of kiting i was able to do it.
Btw, i am curious how you managed do it, since Blademasters are notorious for lacking AoE. And his adds do hit hard.
They hit hard but you are notorious for being hard to hit 
Joke aside but his adds are helping you more than him cuz you ADCTH from them. Just make sure to keep them under effect of cos, and innate 2 targets from cadence + equipment and devo procs with weapon component are giving you enough HP back to stay alive.
Yeah i knew you could ADCTH his adds, was confused about CC’ing them. Good point about CoS. I never put more than a point in it (something to reconsider i suppose)
How much time did it take you btw?
Some 15 mins, bit more or less, not sure cuz didnt measured it. It seamed like forever specially cuz you need to be ever vigilant whole time
