I’m wondering which classes the Kymon’s Chosen NPCs would be? It seems from their equipment that they favor Demolitionists, Shamans, and to a lesser extent, Soldiers.
I’d like to play as a Cleric style class, and was thinking of either rolling with a Warder or an Elementalist. If Elementalist, is it worthwhile to stack the lightning and fire melee passives?
its mostly storm totem and mortar trap so elementalist with both of these is a perfect fit. Mortar trap was never a good skill though, or maybe just once, by mistake, and was nerfed back into mediocrity immediately. Storm totem is also dubious but if you have stun jacks its allright.
Any burning or electrocute DOT build would love their jewellery augments though.
Elementalist can definitely work either either Fire (firestrike) or with Lightning (primal strike or savagery) damage. I guess if you wanted to go for both damage types you could shoot for the Ulzuin’s Avatar set and focus on fire strike? Though I’m not sure how much of a “cleric” this would be per se…
Regardless, Elementalist and Kymon’s Chosen are like peas and carrots.
you can go for light’s defender set and skybreach bulwark for an elementalist lightning build. both of them fits perfectly. I don’t think that mortar trap is bad, I finished both ultimate and gladiator crucible with my mortar trap commando.
If you’re rolling both Fire and Lit, then Thermite Mines ought to be your friend and constant companion.
