Hey everyone. Before I try this on my bleeding conjuror I was hoping to get a solid answer - seems like binding the Manticore devotion’s Acid spray to a huge aoe like Curse of Frailty would be awesome to then follow up with vines. But, there’s only a 15% chance for Acid Spray to proc on attack. I am assuming that does not mean 15% chance for any enemy hit with the curse, but rather a 15% chance on my cast? Would it be better to tie Acid Spray to a DOT where each tick gives a chance to proc?
Nope, CoF “ticks” every second. So every second of it’s duration on an enemy it can proc.
Same goes for Peerless Eye of Beronath amulet curse.
so it’s very good for procs
That’s what it means, this is why it is so powerful
Oh, wow. I had no idea COF worked that way. So it sounds like Acid Spray could proc quite often then if bound to COF. A whole screen could be hit between the COF itself and then the Acid Spray. The vines’ bleeding and vitality damage would hit like a truck.
It’s very strong but don’t get overexcited:p. It procs ONCE per single enemy. So if you have lots of them it’s high chance it will proc once every second. Against a single enemy it’s decent porc too. It has 4 meter range so one proc is enough to debuff a mob.
If you want instaproc just bind it to a lvl 1 doom bolt. It will proc it with high chance at the point of impact not from your character so it’s also very good.
