Instead of 3 potential affixes makes it 1. Angrim = armor % etc…
Theres just to much variation when making high level crafts that require a ton of resources. E.G I’ve made like 6 Trozans hats so far and running out of resources trying to get 6+% armor with 6-7 CDR.
We just don’t need to have 3 per blacksmith, its not fun to farm for ages for another craft. Making a whole bunch of useless cloned items. :furious:
High level relics are also pretty annoying, especially if you are after 1 specific 10% chance to roll affix. IMO, relics shouldn’t have completion bonuses, at least not relic specific bonuses. They should get a balance pass, and all get a minor buff instead.
I’d like to have more than a one in ten million chance to get the MI I want with the right affixes, but it’ll never happen. That’s what GD Stash is for. Still, it would be nice if certain things in the game weren’t so terribly unlikely and could be reasonably achieved without extra tools.
I just backup saves and paste them back if item doesn’t roll a bonus I want. After 1700 hours in the game I don’t have patience to farm ingredients for 10 Ultos Hood’s crafts to get the stats I need.
I still craft Stoneplate Greaves without save scumming tho. And where it got me: 6000 crafts in and still no Stonehide of Kings or Thunderstruck of Kings/Featherstep/Arcane Winds
I didn’t count the crafts, but the iron: roughly 50 mio ironbits in atm. Usually i get the mystic/shrewed of kings every 3-5 mio iron. Maybe one day it will be at least “Warding” or “Ordered”. Something usable.
Yeah all my suggestions to the developers are to help people who want to play the game pure, without any form of cheat/save scum etc… My first 500 hours or so I did my own little tweaks like Mad_Lee has done. Purely for completely unfair game design. I felt like the devs designed it in a way to give players more options as they expected the vast majority would just dupe craft anyway… Except I found in the back of my mind I had tainted the game and was technically cheating anyway which just reduced the fun. I think in black in white… There’s cheating, then there’s legit…
Except all blacksmiths have a single affix people go to them for, so whats the point in having these extra options which just make it impossible to get the desired affix for purists?
You could actually increase the viability of non angrim smiths by moving %phys etc… To other smiths and make balance changes on these affixes. Win/Win?
