As a blademaster, which faction shall I chose as these two are mutually exclusive? Who would offer better faction stuff? or maybe more interesting quests?
Kymon would better because of their Kymon’s Will augment which could save you a “possible” 12 points in warcry if you ever wanted to use it. However if you wanna be safe on all sides (like I did), considering the fact that upcoming patches might change a lot of content, take whichever one, let’s say Kymon in normal and in elite, get revered reputation, buy all their augment that could ever have any sort of relation with your character in large quantities (swap gold from another character if needed), then choose Death’s Vigil in ultimate. Then you would be covered on all fronts.

As they say in their dialogue, Death’s Vigil offer cold and vitality equipment, whereas Kymon’s offer Physical, lightning and fire equipment.

Reducing their damage by 20% is a huge increase to your survivability, and since most classes’ best in slot is not faction gear, most people opt for Kymon’s so that they can have 1 of these in their gear (you only need 1 augment, say on an amulet, as they don’t stack with themselves).

Yeap - you are right about dialogues - but iw was middle of the night when I was playing last night so I was not really paying attention to what they say. My bad.

But I think that people overestimate the Kymon’s argument for classes that have access to War Cry and in case of Blademasters especially. Due to the use of the Belgothian carnage relic, the War Cry will have 0 downtime, and a 12 point Warcry will give an instant 25% dmg reduction (not chance based) and will cover the whole screen. Though currently, with end game gear, there is really no dmg reduction needed for thrash or heroes as they die very fast. For bosses (single target), Oleron’s Might (from the Oleron’s Blood component) is better in my opinion and it is also a very strong single target damage skill by itself; you would have to use the component, but as long as you don’t need damage to life (Haunted Steel) it is in my opinion the best choice.
To be honest it doesn’t really make sense that this argument is given by one of the two antagonist factions. It should either be moved to a normal faction or, even better, the Order of Vigil should have something similar (but in a different way) like an augment that has a 10% chance to give you 20% damage absorbtion for 5 seconds.
Just giving a +1 for Kymons just for the Kymon’s Will augment. One may have better gear than the other, but none of it is super amazing but the ring augment is GOD tier

I’m serious. Kymon offers the amazing Kymon’s will augment, a less annoying (but still nasty) nemesis and the 15% lightning resistance augment for killing Avatar.
Order offers nothing.

I have already reached “revered” with kymon in Veteran.
So, can I now side with Order in Elite and gain rep with them? will it have any effet on existing rep with Kymon? can it lower it?
It will instantly make you have bad reputation with them.
Well, it will drop it down to zero. Yea, it sucks! However if you got to revered just by playing in normal/vet difficulty, you wont have any problems getting it back to revered in ultimate, if it is your goal.
